I had read quite a while ago somewhere that he was going to transfer out so this one may have nothing to do with firing Woodson. But don’t have any insight as to his intentions or why.

Maybe, just maybe, it isn’t that IU basketball isn’t the job people think it is, maybe college basketball isn’t what we think it is. Maybe NO university has the attraction it once had to snap their finger and get whoever they deem as the guy.

Don’t h know how it works in dot coms, but in newspapers ( at least used to be) the headlines were written separately from the article.

I think when the new coach is named, unless it’s one or two guys, I’ll stay off this board until the doom and gloom negative woe -is-me end of the world IU basketball is a loser talk subsides. A ( small) portion of this board will not be happy with anyone hired.

I would think that although they might enter portal they would still like to see who the incoming coach might be if they might warnt to stay and play( if wanted).

Do you KNOW he’s Iowa’s backup plan or have you HEARD he’s their backup plan? We don’t know our priority list let alone theirs :)

I’ve seen his postings and his tone is neutral and comes across as we don’t know anything but this is what we think as outsiders , but in the business. Believe he’s definitely not trolling. And one can be a fan of an another while working for someone else.
