I say a B Before the season I saw most people say they would be content with just making the tournament which happened. Tonight was a disappointment but the season wasn't. Proud of the players and the staff for fighting through adversity and making the tournament.

I know it shouldn't matter but before the play in games started Ga. St. would have been a 15 seed. Now having the play in games with 4 16 seeds actually brings in 2 better teams for the 16 seeds.

Survive and advance is what the tournament is all about. We won the game so I couldn't care how the game looked. We shot poorly but we still did some very good things.

I just hope the winner of our game at least gets a night game on Thursday. That team will end late Tuesday and then have to fly all the way to Portland.

This is why I hate just using metrics to determine the selections. If you just watch the teams there is no way Iowa St. is better than IU. They were 7-11 in conference and lost their first conference tournament game. I get you have to use some metrics but give me people who knows basketball and pick the best teams. We listen to some computer geeks who never played sports in their life. Rant over.

Our last 4 losses were in OT at OSU, by 3 on a last second shot vs Rutgers, lost by 2 at PU and today by 3 on a last second 3.

I know we all like to look at bracketologist but we have no idea how the committee will pick the field. I think we will not be in the play in games. It seems like every year there is one or two teams who everyone was on the bubble but got a seed that showed they weren't on the bubble.

Man time flys because it seems like just yesterday watching these two coaches going against each other.

None of their big men are huge and where Race would not be able to guard them.

When did it become unsportsmanlike to keep saying the game. During COVID watched a lot of old games and teams never took a shot clock violation. IU up 28 against UCLA in the elite 8 was shooting yo the very end. I never understand why the losing team in a blow out just runs the clock out at the end of the game. Did just see the Bryant kid hanging on tbe rim and taunting the other team which he shouldn't have done.

So how would taking a shot clock violation changed anything.
