Yes. For us to be a top 25 team next year Woody needs 2 elite guards, a solid backup big, and another big almost as good as Trayce or Ware. And MR and MM back.

I honestly think he's gone into full-blown burn it down/sabotage mode. I've seen it happen before in different parts of my career when certain employees figure out they are no longer wanted. If we all thought he was doing a decent job I think he'd be much more inclined to just retire and play golf.

The only thing, I mean the only thing that would make any sense right now is that Dolson has a handshake deal in place with Pearl but has to wait until Auburn is eliminated first. Would be a reason someone leaked to Ostermann that Woody was coming back was to quell the rumors and as they were heating up from Trilly and Rabjohns and Pearl didn't like that. Chris even said he didn't know about the Allen firing until right beforehand. But who am I kidding? We all know he's coming back.

Honestly it could be worse. I would never advocate for hiring him in a million years but if Woody leaves the cupboard bare (likely) and all the the P5 coaches say no and it's him or the next mid-major of the month it might be the best option. Let he and maybe Fife run things for a while and see what happens. Who's to say they wouldn't have some success. Would definitely be an upgrade from Woody and Archie. Now let's all pray it never comes to that.
