He has to win a game against a real team before I even get off my couch to turn on the oven. Also, I think we are going to land some of these dudes for sure, but don't you think we should land at least one before we start saying how great we are doing in the portal?

The "big names" aren't moving jobs much anymore. They are going to be unhappy with whomever they end up with initially is my guess....I think Pearl might be the only name that was supposedly looking that they could land on and be happy with (of those they are likely to get).

Nothing matters until November. We are going to get players in the portal. We have gotten good guys in the past. I think we will get Rice and Conwell and a decent 5 then we will fill in role players from there. You will have a team capable of doing some things in the Big Ten. We will hear all summer about how these guys are the next coming. Last year's team was touted as more talented than the JHS/TJD team. We literally do this every year and have been doing it most years since Bob Knight was fired. We are the "Help is on the way" program. I am not buying the hype this summer. I would encourage everyone else to stay grounded as well. Our fanbase looks stupid every year when we talk all summer about how we are going to do this and that and these players are oh so much more talented than what this or that other program has and then we get our butts handed to us during the year. Anyone predicting a record should take into account TJD's last season. I'll be shocked if that isn't our ceiling.

I think we will get some guys. We got some guys last year. Ware was a good pickup. I like Walker. The problem was they didn't grab the guard spot they needed. I think they are going to accumulate some talent this spring/summer and then see what they can do with it. I believe they will get some talent but I am less convinced they will put together an optimal plan to use it. We have had talent every year Woodson has been here. Talent hasn't been the issue. The issue has been having the right talent to do what he wanted to do on one hand and on the other the idea that what he wants to do doesn't really work well these days.

I think playing them together was part of the reason we took long twos but not THE reason. (If you don't have two guys down low drawing all the attention, when you get run off the three line you don't take two dribbles in and shoot, you drive to the basket...)

Honestly, they are reading this. I think it is someone that has some connection to the staff and as much as he wants to spike the ball, I want to rub it back in. These dudes are not only assholes, they are dumb @$$ assholes. Leal doubling down on that same tone tells you where this is coming from. I want Indiana to win so if they pull a rabbit out of a hat, great. Only took these dumbasses 3 years to figure out what people were saying in year one on message boards. "You don't just need shooting...." No **** dumb ****s. "Woodson can change, you'll see..." And he is supposedly going to change by getting dynamic guards (the aforementioned shooters, people weren't expecting a team of Roths) and everyone is just supposed to believe how brilliant they are? Tyme is either connected to the staff or is an arrogant charlatan who is spouting the same stuff as people connected to the staff. If this is the staffs opinion and things fall apart on them next year, good, **** these guys.

According to our old buddy it has been in the works for weeks...and honestly, I think Tyme could be full of **** too. Most of the stuff he posts is cryptic bull **** that could be taken almost any way you want after the fact. Furthermore, he only "confirms" names after others start to drop them and then points back to cryptic bull **** from a week prior and says, "See...told ya so." For what it is worth, I saw the Wolf kid pop up as soon as he entered the portal. Any of us could post like Tyme does. He hasn't dropped one name before any of the people he says don't have the goods. I know you read this you bull **** artist. Tell us something we don't know already.

On this morning I take solace in the fact that I never have to watch Edey play a game again. Bye bye coddled foul machine.

Few things: 1. I will never hope these guys win anything. 2. Can you imagine how insufferable these ****** canoes will be if they win tonight? 3. They know that no matter what happens, they are still our *****. Forever and always on your mind.

How many of these other coaches out there did you see having their tee times advertised? How many did you see yucking it up with buddies in the drinking and cigar dungeon after a loss during the season? Zero? I will quadruple and quintuple down. It is tone deaf.

I did know what was going on this week, but go on. I thought it was funny because we make fun of Woodson golfing all the time. However, as someone replying to that tweet said, "Read the room dude." That being said, I am personally ramping up for the toxicity I plan on bringing around Mike if our rival wins tomorrow. Chernobyl will look tame in comparison to how I am going to be with him and this program until it appears we have **** figured out.

Dumb. Take away Michael Jordan and the Bulls were a mediocre playoff team. This is stupid. They have Edey and they are playing for a National title Monday night. So you can save the Smith criticism and the "Well if they didn't have Edey" nonsense. Enjoy Woodson next year.

I said it several weeks back. Purdue had a chance this year and they are taking advantage of it. Them winning a title this year would be a cherry on top of the absolute disaster that the people who run Indiana have overseen for the past 2 decades. Indiana fans should be absolutely furious and instead we got sunshine pumping idiots crowing about all these double top secret guys we are getting in the portal this year. And once we land whatever we are going to get, those same idiots are going to spend the entire summer telling us all how great we are going to be. We'll get social media posts of how buff dudes are getting.... We are a phoney pretender of a program and we allow them to sell us a load of crap Every. Single. Year. I want a massacre to happen in the admin. Everybody gotta go.

Yeah, I don't agree. I don't think letting everything go the last few seconds is letting the players decide the game. The Bueckers (sp?) girl has an Iowa player in her face without the illegal screen and has a much more difficult shot if she can get one off at all. Failure to call obvious fouls is also the refs deciding a game.

They didn't get screwed. That was the correct call. I hate the idea that the whistle should get swallowed to end a game. Indiana State was on the bad end of that stupidity two nights ago as they had the same player get fouled twice shooting a 3 pointer within a few seconds of each other. If it is a foul earlier in the game, it is a foul later. What the UConn player did violated about every rule of setting a screen. She leaned into the Iowa kid, had her legs spread too far apart, and extended her arms into contact. It was clearly an illegal screen. Then you add in butthurt ESPN's bias against the Big Ten trying to play up the whole "UConn got screwed angle" to boot. Next to nothing coming from that channel with regard to college sports is neutral and unbiased. They have certain teams that are their product and that is what they try and sell while downplaying the competition. I'm glad Iowa won and that was the right call. ETA: I wish they would focus more on making that call at the top of the key. The men's game is a parade of illegal screens on those plays for the past few years. Half of them could be called when they are set and next to none of them ever are.
