Who's going to explain it to them? The only thing B1G refs know about it as that Wisconsin NEVER commits one.

If my friend sucked this bad at his job, I'd fire him myself. It's in no one's best interest to continue in a situation that isn't working.

Why do so many talk like X is this superstar who fixes all the problems? He had a good stretch of games in March 2022 and it would be great to have that guy again, but he hasn't been around even when healthy.
-
I wouldn't say it was ever common, but you would see it from time to time in days gone by. If you have a guy playing particularly well or poor then it should at least be considered. I think a lot of the frustration is that it should be in play from game to game. You make a plan to attack each opponent and those lineups may not always be the same. You do see that occasionally elsewhere but not much in Bloomington for a while.

We have ample room for a guy who can get and make shots. That skill is sorely lacking. The one who doesn't fit is DeLoach. Given the rest of the roster there just isn't a place for him. If he ever got more than a handful of minutes, something has gone horribly wrong.

shots...shots...where can i get all the shots?

Do you think Edey threw Smith through it?

Holy crazy ending for Depaul - Seton Hall

So about the same quality as Houston. A joke but when St. Mary's and Virginia are the only wins against ranked teams, I'm not impressed. No way should they be overall #1 with that resume.

Bracketology and Team Resumes
BannerVille replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
This made me curious how the top 3 finishers did over those years: 2022 IL: 7-3 WI: 8-2 PU: 5-5 2021 MI: 5-2 * so many canceled games IL: 8-2 IA: 6-4 2020 WI: 5-5 MD: 5-5 MS: 6-4 Suffice to say we need to get better on the road to compete for the title. -
This has clearly been his MO for the whole year. It may make sense in theory, but I would have a hard time drafting a guy who didn't have enough confidence in himself to go out and play.
-
First, those guys aren't the caliber of guy you make that promise too. They were complementary players who should have provided reliable shooting, but they were never going to be a program changers. Second, once there was enough evidence that guys weren't holding up their end of the bargain, option 2 all the way. Future "promises" go like this, "I'll start you as long as you're producing". If a guy doesn't believe in himself for that to be enough, then move on happily.

I can handle standing around in the corner, so I'll guard Kopp.

National Peacock Day is the best new holiday!

They just refuse to make the proper call on Wisky. Seriously, what blackmail material do they have?
-
This game may as well be at the Kahl center with these calls. And why aren't they reviewing every single out of bounds call like our games?
