No, it doesn't. At some point maybe acknowledge that here @ap2345knows what he's talking about. Ap2345 just told you he's worked for multiple HCs. Howard going to the other assistant/staffers to try and convince Woodson that they needed to change their approach is exactly what an assistant coach is supposed to do (and does) when there's disagreement -- provide a coaching group approach / opinion as to a direction to take, for further disussion. They aren't lap dogs, and that obviously isn't "talking s***" -- All you're doing is putting blatant spin on a coaching situation of which you know nothing out of some blind sense of loyalty. -

Prediction: @Josh will go down like the Titanic! -
Don’t like how they played - were coached in the first half, awful, but — at end of the first posted second half plan should be ti cut TO’s in half and attack— that’s what happened they cut TO’s to 4 and attacked and beat the game line. Not really concerned by the slow start generally. Coaching was bad but the team woke up — that’s often college ball. Same guys played really well against UT. We’ll see how they do next game

They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

Not a Woodson fan but I don't worry speculatively about what might happen with a new coach somewhere else. Seen enough similar worries about other coach hires and stated misses here, who then flamed out. If Woodson falls on his face, there will be others, and we're at least moving in the right direction after the utter disaster that was CAM. I think Woodson will do well enough so the program is attractive to others in the wings. It wasn't exactly attractive after CAM. -

^^ What's both comical and unfortunate to me is the unnecessary drama and emotion. That's the recurring, and frankly silly issue. Perspective - Similar stuff happened at my office (law firm) this week: - a first-year associate (so 25 or so) was being somewhat thrown under the bus by the litigation partner she works for, and overheard him (standing outside his office) basically bad-mouthing her to another partner, including, well, lying or slanting what she had and had not done. - She confronted him and in front of the other partner, basically calling him out. Good idea? Uh, no. Was she in the right? Uh, yes. - Partner blows up and yells at her (out of character), slams his door. - Associate goes back to her office and is really upset. She's now concerned that her job may be in jeopardy. - Emotion and drama... - I'm on my firm's Exec Committee so she comes to me and another of my partners to tell her side and try to figure out what to do. - Now i get to have a meeting with my partners about this when I'm trying to handle some pressing cases... - Resolution? I talk to both, smooth things over -- sh*t happens, you know -- and take her on as her managing partner. Everyone's now fine. What I'd say to Woodson? -- Grow a pair. Young 20-somethings are going to do something you don't like. Own it, deal with it. What I'd say to Adam? -- Grow up. Gotta work with the boss you have. You're part of a team. This was unnecessary drama. -

I’m wondering what the players think of this. Bad look. -
Yeah, continues to show Woodson's insistence on a 2-big lineup, some experimentation (poorly considered, imo) but very little w/o Ballo-Malik. The Rice-Goode-Malik-Bako-Carlyle lineup did get 8 points in 7 poss but Rice was having an off night particularly in the first half (TO's) which undercut it and Goode still isn't hitting shots (have to think that will change, he can shoot).
