  1. If Wisconsin is going to continue getting/developing players like Johnny Davis then sign me up to be like them. Wisconsin teams are typically missing high-level athleticism and a guy who can take over a game and score like a pro, and they have that right now which makes them really dangerous. They also have a style of play and toughness that travels and wins big games on the road in the Big Ten, which we know are at a premium. I love Greg Gard’s quote after Wisconsin beat MSU on the road: “The court here is 94x50 just like it is in Madison.” It’s no secret they occasionally have three whistles in Madison in addition to the playing surface space, but there is also a lot of truth to Gard’s statement and I like that mentality for playing in someone else's arena.
  2. Baylor down 27 at Kansas w/ 10 min to go. I really thought this might be the game of the day, but not so much.
  3. I feel like Auburn actually is what people thought Purdue was a month and a half ago.
  4. Hoosiers - 79 Purrin' Kitties - 62
  5. I definitely remember that game. I think it was on a Tuesday night, and me and my friends got excited and drove back to Bloomington for the next game on Saturday during which we failed to crack 50 and lost to Northwestern. Oh the ebbs and flows of the CTC era. There was also one of those half-assed storms after beating MSU at home in 2019. I guess just some of the kids in the bleachers behind the goals came down but no one else.
  6. I remember the Purdue teams from their 2007-2011 run pretty well and statistically E'Twaun Moore was pretty similar to what Ivey is doing now, but Ivey's measurables and athleticism are on another level.
  7. Rivals currently has Newton at 43, which is up 47 spots from where they had him previously. That also explains why his composite is so much higher than 247's internal ranking. I would imagine he makes a big jump with 247 too once they get around to updating the 2023 kids.
  8. I just want a W and for this game to be over. And I want Nebraska to go back to the Big 12.
  9. Dude put X's leg in a jiu jitsu half guard. You pretty much have to kick to get out of that. Total dirty and baiting move and that kick was nowhere near random transfer player's head.
  10. Hoosiers - 71 Freddie Ball Game - 63
  11. 100% agree on all that. I was also thinking how crazy it was being at the Ohio State vs Indiana game in 2017 and Burrow being the 3rd string QB on that OSU team.
  12. Can anyone clarify the specifics on if a player’s scholarship counts against the limit of 13 if they use their free Covid year? I’ve heard that it counts, I’ve heard that it doesn’t, and I’ve also heard it counts but only if the player transfers to a new school and uses the extra year there (i.e Joey Brunk at OSU / Al Durham at Providence). I have no idea which is true at this point, and I suppose how that works could have an impact on next year’s roster. I believe we have six seniors plus TJD who I'm assuming won't play a fourth year, and with only having a 3-man 2022 class signed there will be room for some of those guys to stick around regardless of their scholarship counting. Just trying to get a feel for if the super senior source is unlimited or not.
  13. I'm ****** tired of losing to Purdue. It's time to end it. IU - 73 Makers of Toilets - 70
  14. Wow, it must be at least somewhat unanimous then. Which is pretty nuts as if I remember correctly by the end of his recruitment just about everyone but ND had backed off.
  15. Does anyone know if Blake Wesley is widely regarded as a potential one-and-done late first rounder, or is Bleacher Report going out on a bit of a limb here? I knew he was exceeding expectations as a freshman but I didn't know he was getting this type of consideration.
