  1. How many days away are we? When was the last time Indiana beat a Bret Bielema coached team?
  2. Well... If I came along and got everyone here together on a completely different website that last a couple decades and it was pretty good. Set a foundation for some stuff. Then came along another poster who built a brand new and beautiful site... Named the forum section after me to begin with and then decades later the site is booming on a national stage, everyone knows about it... Then someone else buys the site and renames that site after the person who built it... How would that be rude?
  3. I wouldn't consider it disrespectful at all. Just a change that needs to happen. Branch can be honored elsewhere. He's just not the icon that knight is or and Branch had no impact on what happened on the court inside AH. It's a change that I think would have already happened if it wasn't for the falling out that took place. Now they'll just wait until Knight dies to do anything.
  4. Sure he "put IU on the map." But the court is within Assembly Hall. It was named after McCracken obviously before Knight made his legacy. But Knight made AH into what it became. Playing on that court became one of the greatest venues in sports because of Knight. That's why I support a name change. McCracken can be honored elsewhere.
  5. You can when one won 3 and multiple tournament games on that floor itself.
  6. My point is that McCracken never won a single game in AH. AH and Knight go hand in hand. That court and Knight go hand in hand. The legacies are 100% tied together. From Day 1 for each.
  7. That can be changed and should be changed. Let's be honest here, McCracken had nothing to do with Assembly Hall. AH became what it is known to be thanks to Knight. From Day 1.
  8. It'd look better with Knights name on the court.
  9. Basically everyone on roster is a wait and see.
  10. I think we win that Cincy game if college refs weren't an absolute joke and don't eject McFadden from the game. They scored right after that and the game was essentially over from there.
  11. I don't have high hopes at all but am hopefully proven wrong... Some things I'm interested in seeing.. - The offensive line. Can it make any strides whatsoever? Arguably has the worst position coach in the P5 but maybe they can make something work with a new OC. - McCulley at WR. How much run will he get this year? It's not a very talented group of guys so he should have a shot at getting PT of he works. - How will the defense deal with losing McFadden. He was clearly THE dude of the defense. Can they get back to attacking, turning opponents over instead of just getting punched in the face. Last year's DC was pretty terrible and thankfully is gone.
  12. We are what? Month away from college football season kicking off? Been pretty quite on here about it all... I know Indiana won't be good but at least Bama has some competition again... I think.
  13. Gets a million for every rape he's covered up.
  14. I'm interested in seeing what happens with the B1G/ACC Challenge because those big games air on ESPN. I'm assuming if it's a home game for Indiana, it'll be on Fox, CBS or NBC and if it's Duke it'll be on ESPN. No more Super Tuesday games between Indiana-Michigan State now though for sure. I'm assuming no GameDay Ohio State-Michigan game either.
  15. Big Ten is close to signing a deal worth $1 billion TV with FOX, CBS, NBC and EXCLUDES ESPN. So... We will see what happens there.
  16. He's not coming to Indiana. At least I don't believe he is. Who knows. Maybe he commits to Jackson State for football. No clue anymore. Is he a must get? No. Nice 4 year player to have? Yea. Really gonna need some big men though. I guess I less Woodson and company feel Reneau, Geronimo and Duncomb are a good enough trio for the 4-5 spots.
  17. Pacers have set themselves up very well with a backcourt if Haliburton/Mathurin.
  18. I think it brings up another point about him. Just how insanely intelligent he is when on the court. His crazy athleticism allowed to do some thing and his intelligence got him into spots and spaces to take advantage of that. Once he got to the pros, he was smart enough to carve in a role as a hustle player and really good defender. Unfortunately just can't stay healthy which really sucks. Looking like injuries will end his career. Almost the same for Oladipo.
  19. He was a beast of a freshman. Had touch from the outside and a great rebounder. Wish he would have stayed another year to play with JBJ.
  20. Hmmm... Mine would be... Villanova would never have won another championship if the Big East didn't break up. And realignment has GREATLY hurt college basketball.
  21. I remember the EMU forum last year... And then remember how close that game came to Archie Era 2.0... it'll be interesting to see how he does but man... He just wasn't ready for organized basketball.
  22. Hot take(maybe? I don't know) Eastern Michigan is a dark horse to win the MAC IF, and only IF Emoni Bates can play even remotely close to his hype.
  23. Not that it matters really, but Jason Benetti has made the move to Fox Sports
  24. For a career the dude averaged 15.1 ppg 22.5 rpg 4.3 apg 42.3 mpg Played 963 games over 13 seasons Won 11 championships. Won 2 as a Player/Coach. The dude in 67-68 was coaching and playing 38 mpg in 77 games and in 68-69 was coaching and playing 43 mpg in 76 games and won 2 titles. Also did it in 66-67 but they lost in the playoffs.
  25. https://twitter.com/Coach_Ya/status/1553156543968935942?t=kHcrQD5_ktHjYzm39Gh2Lw&s=19 He may have transferred but the big man has gotten his degree from Indiana!
