  1. Yea BUT scottdolsonsburner told me it'd be a big shock when he reveals himself. He's also never denied my claim of him being paid to stick up for Woody.
  2. South Carolina is not a helpful game for a resume. They are horrid and Q3 game. Rutgers the same. Providence is getting close to Q3 territory at 87th(101 would drop them). I think to get a 7 seed we would have to win 14 conference games. Hell out B1G champs in 2016 were 15-3 and got a 5 seed. That team did take some lumps losing to a bad Wake Forest and UNLV teams and getting whooped at Duke, but I'd equate that to getting your doors blown off by Louisville and Gonzaga. Beating Providence this year is no different than beating St. Johns that year. And beating Creighton no different(a little better) than South Carolina. But that team also beat a good Notre Dame team in Indy. 11 wins *could* get us in, but I think 12 is the magical number. Gotta have a signature win over Purdue, Wisconsin or Michigan State. NEED it.
  3. Human eyeballs are important as well. And human eyeballs will let you know, Penn State and Ohio State are not good.
  4. Yes we have 3 wins away from home. All 3 against bad teams. And I get 2 are Q1 but they are only good on paper. As for Providence, they are our only Q2 game period right now and 14 spots from falling to Q3. I highly doubt the committee will care at all about that game.
  5. No. Because they've not beaten anyone and have gotten pummeled when they have.
  6. Sounds like you're saying basketball in a piss poor state right now because Indianas resume doesn't deserve to even be mentioned right now. Seems like a brand carrying it's weight more than the resume.
  7. Because those 6 are the most likely to get them to 11. Which doesn't firmly put them in the NCAA tourney. They'll firmly be on the bubble. As a lot of other teams will have resumes that look just like ours. And we may not have a Q3 loss like another team with a similar resume, but other teams haven't gotten their brains beat in every loss.
  8. It is college basketball. It's also a Mike Woodson team and TJD isn't walking through the door.
  9. Because those are our most likely wins. Let's be honest, we're going to be a dumpster fire at Pressure, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Oregon. Probably all 3 will be 15+ point losses.

  11. So will a bunch of other teams in the Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC. There are going to be Q1 wins everywhere for those conferences. It's always that way. Problem for the B1G... It's just not a very good conference this year.
  12. If our 11 conference wins are... Minnesota(sucks) Rutgers(sucks) At Penn State(non NCAA tourney team, not as good as thought to be) USC(not good) At Ohio State(won't make the tourney likely, not as good as thought to be) at Northwestern(non tourney team) Maryland(meh, super bubble, hard to say if they'll make the tourney or not) UCLA(tourney team? Maybe? Maybe not?) Penn State At Washington (terrible) Ohio State Yea I don't see those 11 conference wins getting you in. I don't care about what quad wins you have, committee looks at that subjectively enough to know, that isn't a good resume attached to a resume with zero accomplishments in the non conference outside of getting blown out. So I think they have to win 12+ and 1 or more has to be stealing a win over Purdue, Wisconsin or Michigan State.
  13. With zero non conference wins and really no wins to date outside of 2 "on paper" wins... Yea I don't see it. We've yet to beat a team that'll actually make the NCAA tourney.
  14. 11-9 would give them a 2 seed in the NIT at best.
  15. 10 or 11 wins isn't getting Indiana into anything but the NIT. Gotta win 12+. Probably 13+.
  16. We've now beat... The 8th placed B1G team 10 15 16 18 Got destroyed by 4, 12 and 13.
  17. Shows where we are as a program. Excited about bearing another bad team.
  18. Anthony Leal is the GOAT. As I have said before here and people laughed and disagreed. You can apologize whenever. This team is also still really bad. Ohio State is bad. Two teams who won't make the NCAA tourney. Indiana still hasn't gotten a win over a team that'll be in the field.
  19. He is. I remember recording a podcast while we barely made it out of Minny with a win.
  20. Id say the same for him. Our assistants are useless basketball wise.
  21. Flight attendant? Chose fish over chicken I see.
  22. Ya couldn't coach his way out of a non existent paper bag.
  23. Leal should have started every game since he stepped on campus.
