Gotta wonder who could take their place. Their conference record sucks(and you know me, I can't stand that). But man... Just overall resumes, not looking at conference record... The field isn't very good.

I don't see Oklahoma or Minnesota moving on. Oklahoma is still a tourney team and their coach is in year 2. Minnesota is pretty welhere they'll always be in basketball. And right now Minnesota is actually 13th, a spot behind Indiana.

What other job could Indiana be "competing with?" Indiana will be open. Florida State will be open. Miami will be open. Virginia will be open. I don't see any other Big Ten jobs opening unless someone like Hoiberg or Collins were poached. Villanova? Syracuse?

I'd essentially make him the OC and help with development.

I doubt it. No Lamont Butler or Jaxson Robinson tonight. Butler is a massive loss for them. He's the defensive anchor and one of the best perimeter defenders in the nation. There will be some stooges but a healthy Kentucky is a Final Four threat. They'll probably still be sitting on the 3 line after tonight.

I will throw out what my priorities would be if I were Dolson. And I'd go down the line and kick the tires of these guys in order. 1. Brad Stevens 2. Nate Oats 3. Chris Beard 4. Dusty May 5. Greg McDermott 6. Shaka Smart 7. Buzz Williams 8. Ben McCollum I may have missed someone I like but this is a good list for me and I don't think it would make it past 3 without a done deal and if it did, it wouldn't make it past 4.

Brad Stevens is a candidate this cycle until Indiana hires a coach that isn't Brad Stevens.
