The timing of the tweets are odd. Dakich made the original tweet on February 4th of 2024. At that time, Tamar Bates hadn't won an SEC game. That tweet was made right after Mizzou had lost to Vanderbilt and was 0-9 in the SEC(Mizzou was 0-18 in conference play). Bates first SEC game was January 6th, 2024. Finally got an SEC win January 27th, 2025. He and Mizzou were 0-20 going into that game. The most recent tweet made after beating Alabama. I just see zero reason to dig back a year for the post from Dakich.

Could Virginia pull in a bigger name though? Thankfully for Virginia, the ACC is pretty wide open outside of Duke. That conference is garbage.

I wish Xavier never left the A-10. A-10 definitely isn't the conference it used to be. Also didn't know VCUs coach was Odom. Not sure why he left Utah State for VCU. Seems almost downward. Do remember him at UMBC because of the butt kicking they gave Virginia.
