13 offensive rebounds for Iowa so far. So tired of watching these guys just stand around the basket assuming the ball is going to come to them while the offense is actively going after boards. Archie just doesn’t get through to these kids. Nothing has systematically improved throughout the season.

He’s an Air Force Academy graduate with a ton of experience so I’m excited to see what he can bring from an intellect and motivation perspective. Seems like a guy who will only add to the LEO brand and has the resume high school kids and their families will really respect.

I’m not sure how much development of talent DC’s do. I’m more interested in his game management/preparation skills along with recruiting. The development comes from the position coaches

Lol, ok. “get paid”, more like get a UFA contract and PRAY to make a practice squad. How many football players leave early and actually make it back to finish their degree? This is a dumb move no matter how you spin it. His only play was to come back, work on his explosiveness and catching the ball out of the backfield and hope for a big year with Doak Walker and All American possibilities. As is, he has no hype, little accolades and he’s behind a very talented crop of RBs in this draft.

So get a degree before you exit.

I just hate seeing guys leave eligibility on the table, especially with all the buzz around our program going into next year. Stevie needs another year with the S&C coach if he wants to work his way into a bonefide draft pick. Not too many NFL GM’s looking for a guy who runs a 4.8 40 who hasn’t shown any ability to catch the ball out of the backfield yet...which is another thing our staff could work to showcase next season. I’ve also said this before in the past, it’s not a good look for our program to continually have guys leave early for the draft and go undrafted. Other staffs use that against us in recruiting battles. Unfortunately, I don’t see Stevie changing his mind unless Hart specifically does it for him and he doesn’t want this smoke next year when we play Michigan.

Who even knows where his head is at? I would probably be more surprised to see him next year than not.

Stevie Scott gone. Thanks Mike Hart. This is a huge loss. I get kids who have played 4/5 years and don’t want the extra year of eligibility but non NFL guys leaving early for a draft they won’t actually participate in, is frustrating to say the least.

All I know is, we fired a guy with mutiple Sweet 16 appearances and BigTen Championships because he couldn’t do better and avoid “off” years. Crean inherited the biggest dumpster fire in the history of college basketball and brought it back from the dead. We fired that guy to get this...all “off years”.

We don’t have to play down to our opponents. If they are going to hit 60%+ from 3 then we can beat them at something....at home. 16-29 at home is a joke. This team is hot garbage in every single facet of the game. This might be the last time I watch a game this year...and every year until Archie is gone
