Fair but he’s always had a diminished role behind Harden and Westbrook/CP3 so I’d be curious to see how he responds now that Harden is gone

I’ll always be a Oladipo fan but as a Pacers fan, his shananigans surrounding openly lobbying to changing teams around his current teammates was a clown move. Then not to perform on the court made said actions unforgivable. It’s one thing to be frustrated because you’re an elite talent and your team isn’t winning in the playoffs but when you’re a big part of why the team is losing it’s a real bad look to be demanding to be part of a championship sqaud.

Best of luck Jerome! Hopefully he can do big things in the league. Sad to see him go but this was the most obvious of our guys entering into the draft. I think Elliott and Sio will make strides this offseason and I expect D Lewis and others to be right with them.

Swann is not an NFL prospect. At best he’s a fringe non-drafted free agent but I guess he didn’t see any value in coming back. I would have thought another year with this staff may make him a late round draft pick. Good luck to him!

I thought dropping 5 spots was a bit extreame for a 6 point loss to Ole Miss. i expected to drop to 10th. Not being able to claim a top 10 finish will hopefully provide our guys with all the locker room material they need this off-season to come back even better next year.

That’s just it. He came into this year a complete unknown. I would have thought by coming back and having preseason All American and trophy watch list recognition (along with a solid season of course) he would develop from a fringe draft pick to a lock in the mid rounds. Teams can’t shy away from Safeties like they can CBs so I wouldn’t expect his numbers to suffer, especially with another year working with our staff.

Best of luck to him. I really thought he had the potential to improve his draft stock by coming back next year. Hopefully he gets drafted.

I think 16 will be the magic number but it’s really hard to tell given where the bulk of the other teams will finish so 15 might do it. Outside of Gonzaga and Baylor, there are really no dominant teams so anyone can lose on any given night. I think selection Sunday will be as crazy and interesting as it’s ever been this year. All that said, I would be very disappointed if we don’t get to 18 wins including the B1G tournament.

I’ll believe it (too much potential) when I see it. I never saw him play in High School but I thought I read comments that he could defend at a high level at his position. His jumpshot isn’t better than his defense and his ability to let the game come to him is what likely gets him pulled as quickly as he does. I hope he can improve but it’s just very jarring to see a 5 star point guard (reclassify or not) perform this poorly.

The other more obvious option is to not play him at all

It feels like he gets an obligatory 3 minutes in the middle of the first half, doesn’t play particularly well (forcing the issue almost as if he knows he only has 3 minutes) and sits the rest of the game. Can’t be good for his confidence. Either play him if he’s good enough or don’t...these random consolation stints aren’t helping him or the team.

You can have games like these when you hang 3 banners. When is the last time we won a conference game convincingly? When is the last time adjustments were made to postively impact the outcome? Archie is a mediocre coach until he proves otherwise

Situational basketball. Freshman with very little game time are prone to foul late in games when it’s the last thing we want. A good coach would know better
