Dillingham signs extension with ASU. Michigan is running out of options. I don’t think Deboer leaves Bama. Guess they end up with Jeff Brohm?? Their fanbase won’t be thrilled with that hire.

The Sorsby possibility doesn’t do much for me. But DJ Lagway in the portal. THAT has my attention. His situation in Florida has been brutal. But he’s 6’3” 225lbs and a dual threat QB. He was a top 10 recruit out of HS a the #1 dual threat recruit. With Cig and our offense he could be the Mendoza reprise next year. -

Bama is really beat up. Even if they get by OU, any more injuries in that game and they’re down to third string guys. Still probably 4-stars, but not many snaps this season.

Michigan fans on a FB post saying “first call has to be Cignetti, we have the money for the buyout.” Absolutely delusional.

Why are we still doing the Memphis thing? I get trying not to look like it’s really only a BIG/SEC tourney. But come on. We don’t need the 30th ranked team in the country getting smoked by 60 at Georgia. Just pick 12. Rank them. Play them.

Don’t guys drag their toe all the time to stay in bounds? Why does you shoe size matter? He had possession and touches the end zone in bounds. Period.

I know our strength of schedule helps us with having some big wins. But I’m still kind of surprised to see us ahead of Maryland. -

Our game plan was definitely to stack the box knowing Iowa doesn’t throw it well. After first half we probably go back to a more traditional scheme.

We’ll be alright. Even if you practice it, when you’re a team who likes to go like IU, when you get into a game against Iowa it’s tough to switch to grind it out, ugly football. Not for nothing, IMO they missed a pass interference call against us on that end zone throw. We may be #11, but we still don’t get the Bama/Georgia treatment.

Some folks on here’s first time watching an Iowa football game? This is how it looks. We will have to win ugly. Like most do against them.

I’ll give Mendoza the benefit of the doubt. We ran the ball 57 times. It’s a small sample size 31 passes and one of the incompletions should have been a 54 yard TD. His touch playing at game speed will come.

We kind of resembled the average Iowa team today. No passing game, good running game, good defense (minus the two QB runs)

Can someone email Fox and tell them breaking news is not breaking three hours after the end of a game? Enough. OSU won. We’ve seen the highlights three times already. Not news. Not breaking.

I’m no sports psychologist, but some of this game may be Cig wanting to give Illinois and Iowa plenty of game tape showing how we’re a running football team. He knows what Sarratt and Cooper can do. Maybe not show your hand before the games that will decide the season by showing a different style team this year than last. Long game strategy.
