The past five or six years it seems like this IU ladies program is always one player away from being great. We have a great player like Berger or Holmes or Garzon come into being great but we lose the player we need to graduation and don’t replace them. If we had Holmes this year we would be a top five team.

Why Bargesser on JuJu when Chloe has been so good on her?

Yarden needed to lean into JuJu and draw that foul shooting the three once she got her to leave her feet.

We’ll look back at this game and the play that hurt us was when they got three offensive rebounds and it resulted in Syd picking up her fourth and then going up 5.

Proud of the fight. They’re getting physical and we just keep coming back at them.

Gotta keep playing tough. This is a great example of why IU will be the most dreaded 8/9 seed in the tourney for a 1-seed. We can play with anyone. Even when the refs are giving stat treatment at times.

Striplin missed a couple bunnies at the rim. Switching Bargesser to guarding JuJu seemed questionable. Chloe was doing well on her. Three ball isn’t there yet. Down five. Good news is, no foul trouble. Got to keep it close heading into the half. We’ve had trouble in 2nd quarters this year.

They have a TON of length. We can’t get sucked into the high pressure and take long twos in the lane that get blocked or tipped. I like our movement and back cutting to get easy buckets. The threes will come. Good start.

Need a hot start. Get the crowd into it. Stay out of foul trouble. We are NOT the 9-seed USC was hoping to see, especially in Indy. Let’s go ladies!

All season I’ve wanted Ciezki to be Sara Scalia so bad. She just hasn’t gotten there. Today she looks much more like what I had hoped for. Have a day girl.

Great start! Phenomenal defense being played against a team with a lot of length. The help downs have been huge. Keep it up!

Meister not progressing at all this season really put us behind the eight ball. She’s barely serviceable and gives us no post presence which makes it hard to space the floor. One half to go. Moren will have them playing hard second half.

Without both Syd and Garzon on the floor we lack scorers. Hopefully we can keep it close until halftime and both of them keep from getting a third so we can play full strength in the second half.

Had to watch the game on DVR due to family stuff. Thoughts are that this is partially what Dolson had hoped for with the announcement mid season (in addition to sending a legend out gracefully and lowering his buyout). What you saw was a bunch of guys whose boss is getting fired playing for their contracts next year under the new regime or in the portal. Like it or not, it’s easy to forget these semi-pro athletes have some big business decisions to make in the coming months. Regardless, always good to get a win over Purdue.

I have no idea who you are, but you’ve got a lot of moxy my guy. My inbox is open if you’ve got sourced information. Everyone I know close to this has been told to quiet down. So interested to hear where your confidence is coming from to be out here providing info.

Said it once, I’ll say it again. This team when it’s on, is a joy to watch. With the way we can shoot the three, I wouldn’t want to host us in the first two rounds in March madness. If you’re a 3 or 4 seed IU is NOT the 7 seed you want coming to town.
