I mean look at the PSU prediction thread. So far nobody believes IU will win. How can people really feel good about things when we all fully expect IU to lose to PSU? I understand PSU is pretty good this year but come on. IU near it's full potential should not be concerned with PSU. I get that year in and year out teams will come from nowhere and be really good but growing up we didn't give a single **** about who was playing good that year and instead expected to beat all their ***** no matter what. In the end we all want the same thing. If, imo it's a BIG if, Archie gets things humming I'll admit I was wrong and be just as happy as you or anyone else. However to declare victory after 2 wins, which btw came 2 games removed from some of the worst offense I've ever seen at IU, is premature. I know you even addressed this point which I'm not blaming you for but some have implied this sentiment. I don't believe fans give recruits crap until after they commit elsewhere so how would that be a factor if they had already decided to go elsewhere? And if it's a precedent from prior recruits then yeah every fan base has the same problem or at least the one's that care so I don't buy any of it. And the same people that have blind faith in him can't watch some of the absolute garbage performances they have and do the same? Sure but are they likely to? Nope. And we've seen trends for 2 1/2 years that suggest the "bad" have been more prevalent than the "good". There is a lot of season left and I'd like to see how it goes. If you want to declare it a success already then go ahead but that tells me a lot about you in that case. I can't recall a player moving from my "why is he playing so much?" list to "never take him out" list as fast as Brunk has. Don't think 2 games are going to change people's minds one way or the other. People that wanted him fired are still extremely skeptical I'm sure and people that don't want him fired will continue to back him during poor performances.
