    Osterman also came out with an article today insinuating that there will be no coaching announcements until all spots are filled. In other words, they will announce at the same time. That's not to say that the coaches won't be working behind the scenes even though they haven't been announced yet.

    Not sure if this was mentioned but Newton now in transfer portal. We hardly knew him due to injuries.

    I wouldn’t count on Stone coming…regardless, we will fill the roster spots nicely.

    That’s completely up to Coach DeVries. He could tell him to go elsewhere or maybe he sees a fit…one thing I’m pretty certain, if Coach DeVries is willing to keep him, he’s taking a pay cut.

    The beautiful thing about this is we finally have a coach that knows what he wants. If it’s someone that he doesn’t feel is a fit, then we’ll move on, and I’ll trust it. Frankly, I wouldn’t object if we had a majority roster turnover. We need to start building a strong culture.

    Yup. It was pretty well regarded that there was a high chance Gordon was going to flip. Then we got a young Travis Steele on the staff and that was icing on the cake as he had a prior relationship with the Gordons.

    Braden Smith and Kaufman Renn will have never seen a defense like Houston. Their defense is literally flying all around with random traps and double teams. They also play very physical. I swear the Zags guards and bigs were seeing ghosts. If DeVries gets us playing defense that hard, we can all be proud.

    I was at that game in DC…and I agree to a certain extent. That was the beginning of the end. We had zero clue against the zone. It’s was breathtakingly bad. I still have nightmares of how ill prepared we were

    I agree. Let him go. I also don’t think he’s good. It’s time to get serious about winning and players who are about the team. We can get so many better guards

    Why would we assume MCollum is a better X's and O's coach that DeVries? From all accounts, DeVries is an excellent X's and O's coach. BTW - I strongly agree, that DeVries is the better fit.

    While certainly note a star....Enright would help set the culture at Indiana and be a valuable depth piece.

    I would expect that as well. We were preseason top 20 this year and that was with Woodson. DeVries is going to target certain players and get them to mesh as a collective unit. My bet, is next year is shaping to be exciting. I mean, with TD and TS, we already have doubled our shooting.
