  1. Was Archie and/or staff out watching anyone last night?
  2. I am sure he is which is why it was pure entertainment only!
  3. I am sure he and the Purdue reps were purely watching for entertainment purposes only!
  4. Standing room only crowd last night at Boonville!
  5. I bet this highlight would really be great from good seats! Sheesh! Nice!
  6. Tough loss but great season for the Patriots (22-2). Bosse is very athletic at every position and will be a tough match-up for anyone in 3A again this postseason. The Patriots return their three leading scorers next season and this one will be the reminder they need to raise the bar for workouts this off season. Great Sectional crowd and atmosphere last night!
  7. I think Archie mentioned it was cramping so should be back ... although, this year who knows.
  8. I agree, and the scary part is the Sophomores on the better teams in the state may not even be really called on to score as much yet if there are solid upperclassmen. I was curious and looked up how Cody Zeller developed .. (Not saying we have a Zeller in Indiana currently but ..) In his freshman year of high school, Zeller averaged 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game as his team, the Washington Hatchets, won a Class 3A IHSAA state championship. During his sophomore season, he averaged 15.0 points and 6.8 rebounds. In his junior season, Zeller led Washington to a Class 3A state championship, averaging 20.5 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. Following that season he was named an Indiana Junior All-Star. In his senior year of high school, Zeller averaged 24.6 points per game, 13.1 rebounds per game and 3.3 assists per game while leading the Hatchets to the Class 3A IHSAA state championship, the third title of his career.
  9. I agree. It's unfortunate that these two were drawn to play in the first round. The two best teams in the Boonville Sectional but it is what it is.
  10. Blake Sisley "was scouted in person" by McCarty, who also offered a scholarship the next day. Great opening round Sectional matchup!
  11. Thanks for sharing! The article mentions being watched by McCarty at U of E. Blake was also offered by U of E. I think Coach Hawkins said it right when saying he is "just starting to scratch the surface" as far as talent. Great opening round Sectional game! Oh, and like Leal and Brown, Blake also bleeds Cream & Crimson! Get him Archie!

  13. This was a good listen with Jared Jeffries. Wasn't sure where to put this but did talk fishing a little bit ... https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/the-peegs-podcast
  14. Can we borrow a few shooters from the women’s team?
  15. Sheesh. These announcers though ... whew.
  16. I'm with you. I'm not seeing much of anything in it.
  17. Great win for the Patriots as they keep rolling! A little magic from Blake in this one ...
  18. Any recruits scheduled to be in attendance tonight?
  19. If you want a good match-up to open sectional play, well, you have one here! Some are calling the Heritage Hills (Sisley) vs Bosse (Powell) game the best opener in the state. It's interesting how the ping pong gods worked out in this sectional. 3 toughest on top (combined 47-16 record), 3 losing records (combined 12-52 record) on the bottom.
