Still a little surreal to me that we're two touchdown-plus favorites over the Nits in Happy Valley, when we're 2-25 against them overall -- with both wins in B-town. This was the country's No. 2 preseason team. My former boss is a PSU grad and emailed me saying he thought the spread wasn't enough -- that he didn't think his boys could stay within 3 TDs of us. After nearly two-plus seasons of this wonderful football ride, I don't think skeptical is the right word. I wouldn't say I'm skeptical, but to used a hoary cliche -- I just don't like to count our chickens before they're hatched. So, while I'm expecting us to win -- if somehow we don't, it might not surprise me all that much. This is till Penn State and they'll still have a stadium full of 106,000 hostile fans.

So, I just finish work for the day and figure I'll sit down and watch some hoops. My on-screen guide, ESPN's schedule and both schools' schedule says BYU-Villanova at 9:30. Yet it's 9:52 -- and no game. Is it being delayed for some reason? Anybody know?

Always difficult for me to make any evaluations of anything college basketball related until Andy Katz weighs in. He has Tuck as the No. 12-best player in the B1G -- the only one of our guys on the list. Nobody from Ruger, Penn State or the Rodents.
