Actually, I was more or less joking when I wrote that. But Brad Johnson was better than Keenum or Foles. I'm sure there are worse QBs to start a Super Bowl. Any one of these might qualify: Chris Chandler, David Woodley, Stan Humphries, Grossman. Maybe Trent Difer ... But Johnson? No. He was better.

Lost in all the hoopla of that final play is the very disturbing fact that either Case Keenum or Nick Foles will start at quarterback in the Super Bowl.

They're gonna stream the game at 4:40, then pick it up AFTER the NFL post-game show? You suck, CBS! Why did they schedule it at 4:30 if they can't show it at that time?

Every time we have a chance to get some separation, we let them back in. The shot-clock violation was ridiculous. Everybody was just standing around.

Honestly, I can't remember the last time we took a 2-pointer. We're dribbling around until the clock winds down, then launching hideous 3s -- on every possession. It's like a certain glasses-wearing, Diet Coke-drinking, ultra-tanned, clapping coach has returned to run our offense. The only thing that's missing is the 3-man weave up top.

When is the last time we took a 2-point shot? Totally abandoned the inside attack. And since we can't shoot 3s for sh--, that's not good.

It's like someone flipped a switch and all the sudden, we're playing like crap.

What was Freddie doing there?

Glad to be playing well early, but if we hit our wide-open 3s, we'd be up by 12 by now.

I'm already tired of hearing/reading about how we beat a short-handed team. Hells bells, we were shorthanded, too, with no Hartman and no Davis (and CuJo already being gone). And we were missing our guys because of injuries and transfers, not because they're sexually assaulting females on campus. ... And as odd as it might be to say, the significance of this win can't be measured until I see what we do against PSU and NW. I've almost already forgotten about the way we played against Duke and ND because in the very next games, we pooped our pants. Hopefully, it's time for us to put together a string of more than two wins.

Living out in Virginia, I try to follow the team as closely as I can. But I can't always get as much 411 as I'd like. Does anybody know what's up with Clifton Moore? I thought since this was an "all hands on deck" situation, we might see him yesterday. Especially since he's 6-10 and would provide some of the size we're missing with Davis out. Then I looked up his numbers and he's played in five games for a grand total of 23 minutes this season. If he's not ready and if we can't get anything out of him this season, why didn't we redshirt him?
