Looks as if Schiano is going back to Rutgers after all ... Will be interesting to see how this works ... It seems coaching reduxes don't always work out so well: John Robinson at Southern Cal, Petrino at Lousiville, Edsall at UConn (so far).

I know March is a long way off, but I'd love to see this team get past the first weekend of the NCAAs. I think that's a realistic goal -- one that I don't believe we've accomplished before.

South Carolina ended up beating Baylor by 15 tonight. So we beat USC by double digits, Baylor beat us by double digits and USC beat Baylor by double digits. ... Kinda interesting.

Believe me, I have. I think it just boils down to an inferiority complex. They're obsessed with us. Last season, I decided to watch a little of their bowl game. I didn't really care who won; I just thought I'd watch a quarter or so before I had to go to work. But at the opening kickoff, the PU fans chanted "IU sucks" -- and you could hear it on TV. Keep in mind, this was a bowl game -- I believe in Nashville -- against Auburn. Had absolutely nothing to do with IU. After that, I was the biggest Tigers fan. And boy, did they whip the Toiletmakers' a$$. Made my day.

That's all fine and dandy, but Good Lord -- teach these guys some fundamentals and instill some discipline.

I have a bunch of family members and friends who went to PU and are obnoxious about the rivalry. I'm too embarrassed to gloat about this one!

Glad to get the win. But whoo, boy -- that was ridiculous. Had we lost, I might have rated that up there with losing to North Texas as the most embarrassing loss in a good, long while.

And of course, they score a TD.
