  1. Penix 22-32 254 yards. ... Usually if we throw 32 passes in a half, it's because we're down 24-7 and are trying to catch up.
  2. Dude, you gotta be smarter than that. Jeezus.
  3. I hate to do this, but ... Maize & Blue 33 Cream & Crimson 27 Tom, I hope you and your boys prove me wrong!
  4. Michigan opens as a 3- to 3 1/2-point favorite. The No. 13 team is a 'dog at home against No. 23? Such disrespect! LOL!
  5. Rutgers handled Michigan State pretty easily. We handled Rutgers pretty easily. Michigan State won at Michigan. Michigan is coming to B-town next week. I'm worried about us being overconfident! LOL!
  6. TDs -- not FGs, boys!
  7. Even if you're stiff-arming, you can't grab the facemask, Whop! ... That just ain't very smart.
  8. I don't know why, but picking us to win scares the hell out of me, especially on the road. But here goes ... Hoosiers 33 State University of New Jersey 21
  9. I'm a glutton for punishment -- does anybody have a link to Kaufman's announcement?
  10. I didn't mind that much when Swanigan picked the PUs -- I mean, his legal guardian was Roosevelt Barnes. That one was easy to figure out. But this one bugs me. I'd rather Kaufman go to U.Va. than the Toiletmakers. Man, I hate Purdue. Oh well -- on to the next one.
  11. Imagine getting thrown into the clink to sleep off a drunk & disorderly and waking up to this in the next cell ...
  12. I'm thinking this will be something nobody saw coming. I'm predicting he becomes an Indiana State Sycamore, then changes his name to Tree Kaufman. Then, after packing up his trunk and taking root in Terre Haute, he'll suffer a back injury, but will miss only five games after getting some excellent lumber therapy. Eventually, he will feel his game has been spruced up enough after a year, and will branch out and leave for the NBA. It won't be a poplar move, so irate IU fans will bark about it, and accuse him of treeson. When asked what went wrong in the recruiting process, Archie will say: "I'm stumped." Yes -- I know. This is a sappy story.
  13. When I watch the replay, I double-check, triple-check and quadruple-check to make sure the ref didn't really come back and say, "Upon further review, we have a reversal -- the conversion is no good." Not because I believe that's the case, but because of our crappy history with replay reviews. I laugh because on the B1G Network's Facebook page, there are hundreds of comments -- saying there's no way it was good, or that it clearly was good. After seeing the replay a few times and having a couple days to think about it -- I still have no idea. And I'd be perfectly fine with admitting it was no good if that's what I thought. To me, it's just one of those instances in which it truly is too close to call.
  14. If Sean does get let go at Arizona, my guess is he will have a show-cause penalty. I would think that would make the chances of anybody hiring him pretty remote until that expires. Next stop: NBA assistant?
  15. After celebrating for about 5 minutes, if I'm CTA, I'm taking the special teams coach into a private office and saying ...
  16. I'll quote the late Jack Buck again (his son went to IU, you know): I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!!!
  17. You know -- you KNOW -- they're gonna overturn this.
  18. I don't think he's in, but if they wanna give it to us, I'll take it.
  19. With our luck, they'll overturn it.
  20. If Penix is no threat to run, it's way too easy to key on the RB.
  21. How is it that Clifford is significantly more mobile than Penix?
  22. Regardless of what happens, you bring back the Kevin Wilson method of discipline and lock the special teams coach in a shed for the rest of the weekend.
  23. TBH, I thought it was gonna be good.
