  1. With ESPN, that's just the way it is.
  2. Actually, you are the winner. To say you're gonna go to a game with a bag on your head while wearing IU gear and try to recruit fans to cheer against IU and chant "Fire Archie" --- that's a winner. Hands down. I'm on a couple chat boards and FB pages and that was the most asinine comment. By a wide margin.
  3. I was wondering what would be the dumbest thing anybody would write after today's game. I think we have our winner right here.
  4. OK. We stunk today and this discussion has just gotten silly. My pooch and I are gonna celebrate the birthday of Walton's pooch by taking a walk. It's a tad chilly here, but sunny and beautiful otherwise. See y'all later.
  5. TJD just looks totally disinterested today -- and has from the tip.
  6. This game is doubly annoying. Not only are we playing like sh-t, but I feel as if I'm watching the Bill Walton Variety Hour. Honestly, I give zero sh-ts about what Bill thinks about all this crap he keeps prattling on about. He didn't even know that TJD was Dale Davis' son. How can you claim to have done research and claim to be an analyst and not know that?
  7. TDJ almost looks as if there's something wrong. Like he doesn't want to be there. No enthusiasm. No intensity. No emotion.
  8. Another rebound we let get away. GRAB THE FU--ING BALL!!!
  9. TJD has GOT to start making some of those bunnies.
  10. Seems as if a lot of our problems so far have been because of laziness -- mental and physical. Sloppy, lazy passes. Not securing a defensive rebound before heading up court (we lost 2-3 of those). Not going to the bucket as hard as we need to. We need to pick up the intensity.
  11. Just so I can tolerate this second half, I'd like to get my hands on some of what Walton is smoking ...
  12. Secure the rebound first. Then take the ball upcourt.
  13. I think it's been about 5 minutes since Walton actually said something about the game.
  14. I have ESPN on early and they're already talking to Walton. If he just were a little but serious about the game he was calling, that'd be fine -- but it's almost as if he just tries to be a complete buffoon. It's his shtick.
  15. I don't disagree with keeping the rotation a little tighter -- especially to the guys who are playing well. But at the same time, in the last 2-3 minutes yesterday, it was pretty obvious we weren't gonna lose. I would've liked to see Leal get a couple minutes. Maybe he can knock down a 3 or a 15-footer so he can gain some confidence and feel more comfortable. He didn't look comfortable against Tennessee Tech.
  16. Nice read on Race. Anybody can have a great game. Let's hope yesterday was a prelude to many great games over his final two seasons ... https://www.insidethehall.com/2020/11/30/the-perspective-behind-race-thompsons-dominant-afternoon/?fbclid=IwAR2RuQpZaa7M93RIy-a2z5Dn2S3mAWWQFE5yS8Zx-zJKq6ZrmybD8D-_UMM
  17. I remember a couple years back, we beat the snot out of Marquette early on and looked like a top 20 team. Then we lost the very next game and were very ordinary after that. Hope that doesn't happen this season, but I need to be proven otherwise ... Horns 68 Hoosiers 61
  18. BTW, for when you tune in tomorrow -- Texas didn't get a new coach. That's really Shaka Smart. He just grew his hair out. Twitter is intrigued ...
  19. Walton: "This is the best I've seen Trayce Jackson play." Huh? We're 2 minutes in. And how many times has he seen TJD play? If it's the first time, it probably IS the best he's seen him play.
