I love watching them. Here’s how good they are…..Their two post players are a bit gimpy. Holmes (knee injury) hasn’t played yet but is available and Meister with a gimpy is now playing. My point is, they are starting 5 guards, because they are that deep in various positions.

Mike doesn’t want to do all the footwork that’s required in recruiting because he didn’t have to in the NBA… Well, this is a major requirement to get out, meet players and families, as well as sitting in the comfort of recruit’s homes.

Let's face it, this utter fire storm would have been briefly avoided if the press release would have been held off until seasons end. I would have felt better if it said,....."At this time, Coach Mike Woodson will be returning next year."

Why in the world does a first time NCAA coach at a major D1 university, continually get free pass after free pass. ....oh, I forgot, I already know the answer. It's just sad

.it just keeps getting better. Any other AD would cut bait and move on just on other some of the other responsibilities being blindly mishandled. IMO, just because IU is above 500 right now, and a 3 game winning streak doesn't mean you get an automatic "free pass" at season's end. At the end of the year, every coach should get a performance interview to discuss the year. ( I don't know if this even happen, you would think so....) I know this is not quite the same, but I have been a HS school teacher for almost 30 years and get 2 performance evaluations, one each semester. The one at the end of each school year is to tell me how I have done, if I need to make any changes or to not renew my teacher's contract. Sorry, I'm just trying to make light of this and looking for reason or just cause.... ....probably not going to get it! lol

I don't care how stubborn a person is, there is definitely a limit to where you draw the line. Mike is a very proud person for being born and raised in Indiana, successful HS bb career in Indy, amazing college career under Coach Knight at IU as well a good NBA career. He has to feel the heat and that things are rapidly closing in around him. It's just my opinion, but something tells me this will be re-evaluated by the higher ups in the coming weeks and a new plan will surface. I may be completely wrong, but I just feel an about face could be on the horizon. I sure hope so, at least. GO IU.

This has got to be one of the worst and poorly handled coaching staff in IU history. This type of easily avoidable situation is careless and absolutely unacceptable in college coaching. This lack of responsibility should be grounds for termination.
