Saw on the other site that Trilly said Dolson met with some notable former players today and their message to him was that they want Woodson gone.

Gosh now at this point with all the stuff that has gotten out already about him most likely being gone and the whole Pearl stuff, HOPEFULLY this new word being said about them planning on having him back is to just hush the noise around everything until the season ends.

So now we gotta wonder if Auburn is gonna try to match that number…and maybe Pearl wouldn’t even be interested even if they do.

Is that a specific amount one would be hearing?

That’s kinda what I’m thinking/hoping. He could be a trolly Trilly out in the open public on X, but as far as a paid private discord, could be a different story.

Is it a newly constructed building? Like, without any humps?

Just have Ware come back to be the point guard. If Woody is back he’ll just have a handful of other big guys that can take Ware’s place down low.

Yep, me too. Give me Dusty May with IU’s resources at his disposal over what we are seeing out of Woodson. Dusty could get McNeeley to stay on board and get the ‘25 guys who are in wait and see mode to commit already. Sisley doesn’t want to play in Woodson’s system and i don’t wanna see him drop 30 on us at Purdue. I guess my question would be, would Dolson consider Dusty as one of those “proven coaches” to lock up and move on with?

Good. Well then at least he’s trying to find someone else regardless of the outcome of the rest of the season and not waiting to see how many wins we happen to pull off and basing it off that.

Surely Dolson is aware that the display by Mike Woodson’s team last night against a sputtering team like Wisconsin shouldn’t be anywhere near what “Indiana basketball at its best” should look like.

I really hope this ends up being the case, and if it is, it would make a ton of sense, especially knowing how they’ve played recently and then all of a sudden we get a game like last night

Yep this is exactly what gives me hope that a change will be made, because it seems to completely relate to how our basketball program is going as well.

Don’t get me wrong, Ware is a fantastic player and I’m happy he had the game that he did, but him having a lightning in a bottle type of perform just enables Woodson to stroke his own ego about saying his playing style works…like I said earlier, if he doesn’t have a Ware, or a JHS, or a TJD having games like that then he’s screwed.

The way he’s been lately with his comments, stubbornness, lack of awareness, attitude, ego, etc etc etc, has gotten me to the point of wanting him gone more so than I did Archie, and that’s crazy, especially considering he’s “one of our own”.

I really hope the administration/Dolson can see past the nonsense Woodson has been spewing lately to try to save his job. He’s really starting to backpedal and contradict himself. I’m glad for the players that they played hard and won (especially knowing it was against Wisconsin), but Woodson patting himself on the back saying that was Indiana basketball at its best is ridiculous. His comments from last night were basically “see, we played my way by going through our big, and X was available, and we won because of it.”….no. Ware saved your slim 4 point win by having a JHS at Purdue type of game. Good college basketball coaches don’t have to rely on the JHSs and Wares of the world to go off to convincingly win a dang game.

Yikes. A game that Ware went off and we happened to play against a sinking Wisconsin team. It takes our best player to have a super human performance for a Mike Woodson team to win (and we squeezed it out by 4 points even after the excellent game Ware had). I don’t want to be what I saw tonight as “Indiana basketball at its best.” My fear of him getting 8 centers in the portal is coming to life lol

I’m really hoping Dolson’s plan makes tonight’s game meaningless.
