There are not enough portal additions to improve that drastically in one year!!! Competent coaches like Self or Pearl could make it work, but not Woodson!!!! This is total BS and him getting another year is delaying the inevitable!!!!! My fandom is about over and gone if he returns next year!!!!

Great point! If Woodson loves IU like I suspect, is there a chance his buyout/retirement package is lower? I'm probably being naïve, but he's made millions at IU and has lifechanging money. Will he give an IU discount? Is the buyout even a big deal? Someone mentioned TV money of 100 million.

I hear you! I have plenty of IU gear and can't remember the last time I wore it. Too embarrassed to even go out in public with it on! Extreme?!?! I don't know but Men's Basketball, the former pride of the university, is an extreme mess so desperate times call for desperate measure in any way we all can! Agreed! I don't even watch anymore and that stinks because it used to be appointment TV. Now I'm resigned to just seeing the result and I must say I'm not one bit surprised. I played HS ball from 87-91. A thrill every fall was to go to the open practice in Assembly. One side was literally filed. One time in the lobby with with my HS coach, Coach Knight happened to be walking in and my HS Coach who had worked his camps said "Hi Coach" and he came over to speak to his under 5 year old son and I got to shake his hand. I'll never forget the 5 year old looking up at him. So intimidating to all of us really! Another thrill that was so great and gives me goose bumps was when he'd walk in a minute or two before the tip off. Assembly went crazy!!

Yes on Cupps! He's a 4 year guy who will only get better! Remember how we all disliked Aaron Craft, same type of player but better! Craft played in a FF. You need glue guys and all 5 stars just doesn't get it done. Have to have a mix of both IMO.
