Other than the 2 Iowa flukes this year how many times did Archie actually beat some one he wasn’t supposed to??? Crickets.....

Sadly we all better get ready for the run they are gonna be on for the next few years. They lose nothing this year, have Kaufman and Furst coming in, and will be favorites to win the BIG next year and are probably Top 5 ranked pre-season! Makes our misery with IU worse!

Yes that was true about Rob and Armaan working out. The guy is my sons trainer. He told me he worked them out last summer and I got excited and wanted some insight on them because I still had hope for IU under Archie. When he told me they said he was a assh*le it really deflated my enthusiasm and I've watched this year with a sense of doom and sure enough here we are. There is a disconnect and for 2 of his starters to say that is all you need to know. Chris is right once you lose the players you are done as a coach.

I'm on the Fife train! He's been at MSU since 2011 and they've been pretty damn good. He and Dewayne Stephens have been constants on that staff and no doubt recruited a lot of that top talent. This is their worst year and. ahem, they beat IU twice! It all makes senses! Former player, good recruiter, etc.... Bring him on!

Good! He is a HUGE part of Purdue's success. Also has a Top 150 son who is a sophomore right now(?). Need him to leave Purdue after this year.

A tad more? I blame McRobbie for the mess that is IU! This focus on out of state enrollment just for money has caused the university to lose its identity! Remember the Harvard of the Midwest nonsense? He has no idea on athletics nor the pride that Hoosiers had for their state university! Where oh where is John Ryan or even Thomas Erhlich? Need a American and hopefully a Hoosier in charge! I’m so jealous of Purdue having Mitch! He gets it!

I don't base my IU fandom on what Purdue does but the fact they lose no one and who they have coming in we all better get ready for them having a huge amount of success for the foreseeable future. The fact they will be a Top 5 team and BIG favorites next year further shows how pitiful IU basketball really is. Their success isn't limited to next year either. Painter has really settled in and Schrewsberry is probably one of the top assistants in College Basketball. His NBA experience is enticing to recruits as they believe he knows what it takes to get there. Man IU has to get a new Coach. I don't know who it is but it has to be done.

I'm being naive and as George Costanza said "if I stay I get it all" but: I wonder if there is any chance Dolson and Archie come to a agreement and he resigns and IU is not responsible to pay the whole amount of the remainder of his contract. Archie has to be miserable and although coaches are competitor's I wonder if he's just ready to move on? Yes I know money and this is a pipe dream but......

Why do the IU women have 4 games to play and Maryland only has 2? I'm sure it's COVID related but shouldn't Maryland have to make up a game or two?

Don't watch! Set your DVR if you just have to. Believe me if they lose you won't stay up late and waste your time. If they win you'll wake up to a nice surprise. At this point with this maddening team I've found it is the only way for me to cope. Trust me none of you will regret doing this!

Unfortunately I believe you Chris. Archie is not the answer and never will be. If anyone thinks we are better next year they are crazy. My question is this: As you are connected at IU does he have a good relationship with his peers? Dolson? Archie seems arrogant, standoff-ish. Is perception reality? If true all things mentioned can't do him many favors with his peers and Dolson. Maybe he knows whose *ss to kiss. Curious to hear your thoughts.
