Competing for a conference title and top 3 seed every year would probably be what I say. A single elimination tourney can be very flukey but I’d want us in the mix every year. This would just be for Brad because i think he’s that good of a coach and with NIL you can truly build whatever team you want

This is what the future is. Duke already has a GM and their roster construction this year fits so well. If you look at football programs all of the really good ones also have a GM. It just makes sense with NIL now

Jay wrights teams usually were one of the top teams in the country when it came to 3 point shooting. That’s my biggest thing with McCollum. Maybe it was different for his d2 teams but when i watch Drake this year it’s all about the paint. They average less 3s than us this year

What coach is leaving after dominating 4-5 years at Louisville. People should really look at how coaching searches for schools across the country have gone recently. People aren’t leaving schools they have rolling

Idk basketball is king there and they’ve been starving for a good coach after Payne. I feel like there’s no chance they let one get away. These SEC schools have a lot of money and resources also but maybe I’ll get surprised because golden is a great young coach

I feel like there’s zero chance Kelsey leaves Louisville. He’s all in with them or a great actor. Also think there’s zero chance golden leaves because why would he. He has no ties to Indiana and has Florida rolling. He’ll get a nice raise to stay

Drake somehow takes less 3s than us. Unfair or not after 8 years of Archie and Woodson not valuing the most important shot in basketball I’d be bummed to hire another person that doesn’t play modern basketball

We take mick from ucla and their fans are probably happy. Obviously not a science because Dayton fans were sad about losing Archie but I want fans sad about losing a good coach

I’ve seen people say we wouldn’t be considering dusty if he wasn’t from here but I’d raise that the only reason we have any shot is because he went here. Plus Michigan and Louisville were both fighting for him last year and he didn’t go there so he’s obviously thought highly of. Having watched Michigan this year, they don’t have consistent guard play and that’s why all their games end up being close. Michigan has had the biggest win differential of any team in the country which seems pretty elite to me. Once dusty gets guards in like he had at FAU he is going to have them rolling. He’d be a great fallback option. If you look at coaching searches the last few years it is very hard to get someone established to leave their programs. Maybe that has changed with NIL but I’ll believe it when I see it.

I think he’s honestly more unrealistic than Stevens. Coaches aren’t leaving places they have rolling anymore. Alabama gives him everything he wants and he has them as a top 5 program in the country with a bunch of NIL at his disposal. He doesn’t really have any reason to leave Alabama. Kentucky and Louisville probably checked in last year and he’s still there so i don’t know why it’d be any different for us

As someone living in Omaha I’m probably Greg McDermotts biggest fan on this board. Elite coaching job this year having them first in the big east after losing pop isaacs. Made it to at least the sweet 16 in 3 out of the last 4 years. They run some beautiful stuff. Creighton NIL is nothing special compared to the rest of big east but he knows how to build a team that fits.

Unsurprisingly his teams have gotten worse after he got hunter Dickinson. I wonder why
