I actually have watched way more high point than most lol. One of my buddies went to college there. Huss is beloved there. They play very fun basketball especially on the offensive end. Having a top 25 offense at kenpom where most ppl would struggle to name a single player is extremely impressive. Keep in mind tubby smith was their coach before Huss and they were absolutely terrible with no fan support. Huss comes in and immediately wins back to back regular season titles. I know my buddy would be very sad to lose Huss. I doubt he’s being considered but he’s a good young coach on the rise

Ngl I wish schertz was having a better year at SLU. I know they've dealt with a lot of injuries but I really like how Indiana St played last year

Not sure if this is true. I know St. John's is getting money pumped into their program. UCONN obviously and gtown has money to spend. I'd be suprised if Villanova isn't spending more than creighton. Didn't ryan nembhard leave a few years ago because of the NIL?

I would generally agree but I think this may be the right time for him to leave if there ever was. Kalkbrenner and ashworth are both graduating and we definitely do have more NIL compared to them so a rebuild here may be easier in his mind. Maybe he gets frustrated looking at St. John's being able to buy whatever player they want and wants the resources we can provide. But in all likelihood he'll get a nice raise from creighton and retire there.

Maybe this is wrong but Goode is really the only player I want back from this team. I want a new coach and a fresh start from the Woody era

Feel like Mcdermott would be a hire similar to pope or kelsey last year. Louisville and Kentucky both struck out on their top options but ended up with lesser known coaches that know their stuff and are having a lot of success this year. I really do think we could do a lot worse than Mcdermott but maybe I'm biased because I live in Omaha.

If you have a chance to get Tommy Lloyd he easily shoots up to top 3 for me. Even in a down year this year they’re still ranked and have gotten better as the season as gone on. They play a very fun brand of basketball. Top 2 finish in the big 12 every year he’s been there

Collins has made the tourney 3 times in 12 years. I get it northwestern is hard to win at but the results we would expect from him would be such a big jump from what he currently has done in his career. Him and brownell are the two “candidates” i would struggle to get excited for. Thankfully i don’t think Scott would consider collins

Don't agree with this at all. He is a very good coach. Alford was a good recruiter. Wish he was younger but I just want to win. He is a winner in the big east. That isn't some tiny conference

Honestly we haven't been good for 5 straight years since I have been alive. I will settle for that before we start thinking about 20.

I’m 27 now and there has been one final 4 in my life. I’ll settle for one and I’m willing to guarantee the top 5 defense. He’s had a top 10 defense every year at Iowa st and i assume he’d get better players with us

You’re guaranteed a top 5 defense with him and at least the last two years he’s had top 40 offenses so I’d like to think he’s figured it out on that end.Those are lofty goals tho. How many coaches go to 4 final fours in 20 years?

Tbh i usually push back at the notion that our fans are crazy or we have unrealistic expectations but seeing people not excited over Scott drew has me questioning that. We have not been a good program the last 20 years. Pulling a coach that has won a natty before would be the coup of the century. I wanted him last search before woody and he went and won a title. I’d be ecstatic to get drew because we’d be consistently great again
