  1. I think it’s because he’s not jumping around and screaming like Bruce or Hurley. If you watch him on the sideline hes very calm kinda like Brad Stevens was back in the day
  2. This is nonsense to me. Dusty has already succeeded. Just because he’s not screaming all the time like Hurley doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the personality to be great.
  3. Truthfully i want no part of McCollum. It’s not even that I don’t think he’s a good coach. He obviously is but their style is like watching paint dry for me and i think he’d run into issues that Tony Bennett had at the end in that good players wont want to play in that system
  4. I also agree that those guys are all better but none of them are leaving an already established program imo. I think McCasland goes to Texas if that opens up.
  5. I liked Greg McDermott last time and i like him again this time if we strike out on everyone. He’s done a masterful job this year. Only issue is that he’s 60 now but he’d win a lot of games
  6. Is there any specific reason people are brining up buzz? I think he’s a good coach but he’s also from Texas making 4.5 million a year already so I’m not sure why he’d leave
  7. I’d be ecstatic with any of those 4
  8. It does sound like we won’t be stuck with a Mike Woodson esque coach like last time if Brad falls through which is nice also
  9. For how bad we’ve been the last 20 years we have the most fun coaching searches in all of sports lol. Hopefully Brad finally is coming home
  10. Never thought I’d see the day that I’m jealous of the way Wisconsin plays offense
  11. I’d throw a 10 million dollar offer out to self. Less than 1% chance he leaves but the internet ku fans are getting antsy with him (I know they’re crazy)
  12. McCasland has spent his whole life in Texas. I’d be shocked if he left
  13. You or me are bad with numbers because i see 20 and 25 on kenpom. In his first year!!! I’ve watched most Michigan games and don’t think his guards are great which is the opposite of his FAU teams. I imagine that changes because he has a 5 star committed for next year
  14. Dusty’s advanced numbers are so much better than Archie’s ever were. If you consistently put out teams with top 20 defense and offense you’ll win one eventually. Archie never had anything close to that
  15. I’ve watched probably half of drakes games. Ben’s a good coach. He’d have to change his offense though to win a title at this level. But he’s a smart guy as evidenced by all his wins so hopefully he would do that
  16. There’s are truly so many good coaches out there. It’s honestly so impressive we continuously choose the wrong ones
  17. I would love Dennis gates. Underrated aspect is he has the personality for the job I think. Knows how to use the transfer portal as evidenced by turning his team around after a horrible one last year. Modern basketball also
  18. People should take a look at the current vandy coach Mark Byington also. Just beat Kentucky and they play a fast 5 out modern offense. He was at James Madison the year before so maybe a Cig part 2.
  19. Oh lol the first three are home runs that everyone would agree with
  20. I don’t know what shrews has done to get this job other than be from Indiana
  21. What is that 1-5 now for woody against the franimal
  22. I’d scream for joy if we got Dusty. Top 10 kenpom team right now in his first year at Michigan. He’d have us rolling with our resources
  23. If we’re putting out coaching lists. I fully admit the top 5 have a 1% chance of happening but I’d still offer them top 5 salary and make them turn us down first. 1. Brad 2. Dusty 3. Pearl 4. Scott drew 5. Shaka( built something great at Marquette and is from Wisconsin but maybe he wants to try his hand at a blue blood) 6 Chris Jans (winner everywhere he’s been and Mississippi St looks amazing this year) 7. Wes miller (probably would leave us for UNC if we ever get good) 8. Mccollum (not sold on his offense but he’s a winner and hopefully smart enough to adapt) 9. Hoiberg (good coach but may not have the personality for the job) 10. The Bucky McMillan, schertz of the world. I thought this tier of candidate was better last year but new names will pop up as the season goes. Unsure why shrews gets brought up since he’s had one good season his entire time coaching and even that wasn’t great. Intrigued by mark byington at vandy depending on how sec play goes.
