Our offensive numbers look ok since we beat up on terrible teams when Lamar got hot but against any team with a pulse we looked terrible. We are going to finish with a worse record and the same kenpom or worse as last year and Mike didn’t even know the names of half the players

Losing 6 of 7 to end the year when you’re fighting for a tourney spot is gross

Miles being this bad is why my expectations for Harris are so low. Their team last year was terrible in a bad league

The thing is we don’t play fast all. It’s actually one of the things i hope we do more next year

Graves is fun. Some of the draft guys have been talking about him since he has such a unique profile. I feel like a good stretch 4 that can do everything is really hard to find. I’m sure he’ll have lots of options if he stays another year

I hope we do take a page out of Dusty’s playbook and focus on recruits from power 5 conferences. I feel like the jump from mid major is really big and unless you’re a guaranteed first rounder like yaxel it’s not worth the risk. Their roster is littered with talented players that showed something but weren’t stars at their former schools and took the next step with dusty.

Top 20 recruits usually contribute in year 1 and if we can’t get one of the best shooters in the class to contribute then that’s on us. I feel like recruits in this range are the sweet spot since they’ll hopefully stay longer and you may end getting a discount the later years. We need talent. Trey mckenney for dusty was similarly ranked last year and is a key contributor on a team way better than us.

Am i crazy or shouldn’t we jump on that for a top 20 recruit especially that fits our system? Thats half a reed bailey

For a staff that values shooting we sure have a bunch of non shooters on our team. Idk how we’re small and consistently get outshot during big yen play. Lamar has covered a lot of that

I’m gonna be honest i count Alexis as a win. He shouldn’t have been our third best player but he’s been way better than i expected. It doesn’t help that he’s playing next tucker who is probably the least athletic PF in the country. Alexis as our 6th or 7th best player would be fine i think

I have concerns with the system. Hope the athletic limitations are the reason but i haven’t been very impressed with our offensive stuff and our defense is even worse once we started playing teams with a pulse

Shockingly terrible offense and terrible defense is not a good combo. Do we ever beat OSU when we’re playing for a spot in the tourney

We get nothing easy. The athleticism difference is eye opening considering we have the same records basically

Haralson cant shoot right now but he also has a chance to be a lottery pick and all American next year. Look at his numbers compared to some of the other amazing freshman this and he stacks up very favorably. I’d love him here. If you look at Michigans transfer classes, they are a bunch of former 5 stars. Haralson would be like that for us and I’d much rather him than a mid major
