  1. A quick google search reveals Stackhouse earned his college degree in African American studies after being in the NBA.
  2. Steve Masiello a few years back was supposed to become the USF coach but it turned out he didn't have a degree so the offer was rescinded. I think it's stupid that a college basketball coach would have to teach a class however. It's a waste of everyone's time.
  3. His personality would be a lot more annoying if he was losing but since he's winning it's looked as motivating or endearing. Some of his motivational tactics definitely make me roll my eyes. Obviously it's working though since he has had a lot of success in college. I honestly think he fits more in college than the NBA. NBA players would immediately tune him out. Here's just an example. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3311544/noted-basketball-guy-eric-musselman-dressed-up-like-a-ups-driver-before-last-nights-game-to-show-his-team-it-was-time-to-deliver
  4. Younger I guess. Neither of them should be candidates in my opinion. I'd be extremely disappointed in both.
  5. Calbert is nowhere near the candidate that Juwan was. Juwan was a finalist for NBA coaching jobs. Kids know Juwan from the Fab 5 and playing in the NBA for 20 years. No one knows Calbert. He's never been as close to a head coaching job as Juwan was. Juwan probably would've gotten a head coaching job this year in the NBA. Calbert isn't a candidate if he didn't go to IU.
  6. I still don't think anyone actually knows anything. Feels like everyone is just throwing **** against the wall and hoping it sticks because it's been so quiet.
  7. I know we all love Calbert but he'd be a huge risk. He hadn't even been a bench coach this year for the Pacers until one of the other assistants resigned.
  8. I don't know how much Snow knows. He said Archie was staying the day before he was fired.
  9. I’d definitely want Altman over Woodson or someone of that nature. He’s won everywhere he’s been.
  10. Definitely could do worse than a guy that wins as much as he does. Would’ve liked him more last search when he wasn’t 62. He also relies heavily on transfers if I’m not mistaken.
  11. Tbf those kids were never leaving California. They’ve lived there all their life. I judge Enfield more off the non Mobley years because I think that’d be more indicative of what kind of recruits and results he’d get here.
  12. Unfortunately that does not seem to have translated. They shoot 66% from the ft like this year.
  13. Maybe Tom wants to put a good word in about all the perks of being at Indiana instead of smelly old Alabama.
  14. I’d legitimately offer Oats 7 million a year. Granted it’s not my money but he’s what we’re all clamoring for in terms of style, youth, and personality. I have little doubt he’ll be one of the best coaches in college in the future. Kids are going to be lining up to play in this system. Alabama can match anything sadly.
  15. Is he bringing the Mobley’s with him
  16. The more I watch Oats’ team play, the sadder I get that it doesn’t seem like we have a shot with him.
  17. If Musselman left us for the NBA that means he’d be extremely successful here at least for a few years. I’d take that. He’ll be 57 by the time next season starts. I don’t know how many more opportunities he’ll get for the NBA.
  18. Seems like a guy Gonzaga gets and turns into an All american
  19. Has anyone else heard Wednesday other than that guy on the Rivals site? He has notoriously bad info and is not someone I'd consider an insider.
  20. Bennett's teams are slow but at least they are modern in terms of shot selection. They ran a lot of 5 out offenses this year. They are consistently great shooting teams and take a high percentage of theirs shots from three which is a big difference from Archie. I think there's a reason that Bennett has been able to have top 20 offensive efficiency teams the last 5 years.
  21. I think I have less issues with the packline than the offense. I really want to see a good shooting team again. You can't play slow and also be a terrible shooting team.
  22. Chris Mack's team shot worse than Archie's team last year. No thank you.
  23. This is why people laugh at IU fans. Bennett is one of the most successful coaches in the NCAA. I think there's zero shot we get one of the few coaches that have won a title but saying he'd be a failure to get is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
  24. Before I got my hopes up with Brad, Scott was my number one. He’ll have us winning consistently.
  25. I think you’re underestimating kids haha. I’d venture to guess most high school kids know Russel especially since he was on the lakers and warriors.
