With how this team is built though I don’t see above a 8 seed. After this season the expectations obviously are higher. For this season I think a lot has to go right be a 8 seed. I think 7+ seed is miles away from where we are now. We don’t even have a quad 1 win yet. If we are an 8 seed that’s not the end of the world.

I would argue Leal and Sparks in matchups that call for it. Gunn has to prove he’s worthy of minutes. If he doesn’t then he honestly can sit at the end of the bench. Hate to say Gunn is replaceable but with the portal now.., You can get a better guard then Gunn. Gunn comes in to “score”. He can’t shoot mid range, the 3 ball or shoot free throws. At times he’s lost on defense. Personally think he might no see a minute once X comes back.

I think 8 seed is the ceiling. We need more depth to reach that. Johnson has to stay healthy too

I don’t want to put this on one player but….. Kaleb Banks killed them today. It was like watching Geronimo 2.0 out there.

Galloway should take his 5th year. He’s a great ball handler and good when he has weapons around him. When he has to be the man… He can’t. Barely makes the rotation after 4 years. Every year we always have the “oh we should be deep this year.” If we want to be “deep” Galloway is a good 7-8th player on your team.

Part of the problem is we don’t have good depth at guard and no one push him for minutes. Like Bates last year… If you don’t have it after 2 years then chances are you may never have it.
