    I think some people jumped the gun on the week 1 thing. Nelson is possible but Wentz might be a stretch.

    Jovic is supposed to be really good so he should present a good test for the team. His highlights are pretty impressive. Here's some highlights if anyone wants to see what IU is going up against.

    IU has been top 3 in the B1G recruiting rankings about every other year for the last 6 years or so. That's a problem when there is no consistency. That's what I think Woody can help to change if recruits like what they are seeing on the court.

    Things went sideways with PG and Vic had 1 really good season. His 2nd year when he got hurt he wasn't as good prior to the injury then the injury happened and he still hasn't recovered. The fact that he never accepted the Pacers extension offer was a major dodged bullet for the organization.

    Team full of 3rd options may be better than a team with a star and a bunch of role players. This year will be telling but they've built a solid team and done so when they can't lure top tier guys to come to Indy? So I'm not sure how you propose they get those #1 options without completely overpaying via trade which would be stupid or getting lucky in the draft.

    If Nike is involved Oregon is the team to beat in that race. That said I'm sure Bates could make a killing by staying at home and going to MSU.

    The reality was that group wasn't going to win anymore in Chicago. They tried with multiple managers and that core couldn't repeat the magic they had win they won the World Series. They tried making roster moves in prior years but it just didn't work and when Theo left that was all she wrote for that core in Chicago which I'm 100% ok with personally.

    People love to bash the Pacers and say that the Simons don't spend money but that's not true. They just spent 29 million to hire Carlisle while they are still paying 2 other coaches. They also have spent all of their salary available without going into the luxury tax and have the 6th highest salary in the NBA. They have a very good and deep roster and might still make another move or 2.

    If Woody shows his style translates to wins. I have a feeling Michigan and IU will be at the top of the B1G in recruiting moving forward due to the offensive style that recruits want to play.

    Not really but Lavon Johnson is another DL to watch but he’s saying right now he won’t commit until December. We’ll see if he stick to that
