  1. Just goes to show, there's always someone out there with a completely unexpected take.
  2. What does your history have to do with having a bizarre Mark Titus take?
  3. I can't think of anymore more dissimilar to Dakich as Titus. He's an IU fan and he's an entertainer. Posting a meme is not "provoking".
  4. Snow saying "Brad Stevens - Just, no" on peegs. Love how self assured he remains after getting completely scooped on the Archie firing.
  5. To be fair he is playing in a tiny school in Springfield. If he were in St Louis it'd be a different story. Went to many a Chaminade game when Brad Beal and Jayson Tatum were there (no overlap obviously) and it was always a packed house home and away. Obviously not Indiana sized gyms, but still a big deal.
  6. Weird flex, but ok.
  7. I do know the phrase, but I don't spend my time on other boards complaining about the others. I read them all because I don't view any of them as a waste of time/money, rather complementary pieces in my IU obsession. Have a nice day.
  8. This site also doesn't have a bunch of interviews and actual content outside of the discussion/speculation you mentioned (beside Chris's contributions obviously). I don't get why they can't exist in the same ecosystem. It gets quite old when Peegs.com bashing occurs in every recruiting thread.
  9. So you're wasting your time on speculation. Good to know.
  10. He charges people for actual content. There's also no point of you being on this free board either if you don't believe that recruiting is fluid and oft-changing. By your logic you are wasting your time. That's a ridiculous take.
  11. He snuck in a very small #nc at the end which I assume stands for "not committed". But very interesting that he didn't spell that out as pronouncedly as he did for the Memphis and Minnesota posts.
  12. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4I9ZsVHC5Z/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  13. Maybe they need more practice players and he tried out and coach is letting him walk on as a result. Probably something more nefarious going on here though judging by the takes of the usual suspects.
  14. Sorry, where did I say that we are just fine?
  15. How did Tech and Auburn pull that off? Certainly doesn't seem like average for a national title contender!
  16. I don't know but you're more than welcome to crunch the numbers on that. If you have the capability to export all of basketball-reference and pivot the data for only elite eight teams, I would love to know the answer. I will say that a quick look at the top ten FT% teams each of the last few years is illuminating. A lot of non tourney teams in there. The original discussion was centered around a statement that Archie has never had a good free throw shooting team and that by extension is either incompetent or does not care about his job.
  17. For context, that low 70s number was good for 96th in the country. Obviously not outstanding, but above average. I guess you get to throw that out though? I didn't realize the goal posts had moved to the standard of "writing home about". Did some further digging, his two years at Arizona, Arizona shot 73.3 (32nd in country) and 74.6 (36th in country). You are correct in that "literally" was not the right term. But when you jump someone over reading comprehension, maybe take care to choose your own words more carefully.
  18. Is it more absurd to say that he's "literally never had a good free throw shooting team" when I could find two with a quick google search though? So yeah, I misread his initial statement. Because I am thinking about Archie's time at Indiana, I quickly read over his sentence and thought of only Indiana teams. My bad. The horror. But his initial statement, on further investigation, is also objectively wrong.
  19. Sorry, didn't realize this was a Dayton board. To answer your question, I got two years out of that because I care about the track record at Indiana and with this roster of players. You, obviously, could have figured that out. Also, he "literally" (as opposed to those figurative teams that he's coached) had a Dayton team shoot 72% in 2012-2013 and 78% in 2011-2012.
  20. So two years + one scrimmage? Got it. Our coach is either incompetent or doesn't care about being competent. Got it.
  21. Already in midseason form in October. Fair play, this is an absolute take quake.
  22. Back from suspension to ring the money bell. So original.
  23. Not sure the consternation on the "Archie unavailable post scrimmage thing". Obviously when you have two 2020 commits, and three top 2021 targets on campus (one of which is an official), he's a bit busy.
  24. Do you ever get tired of writing the same post over and over again?
  25. I don't think it was autocorrect. You probably saw the tweet from Derrick Wesley (I assume Blake's father) of a picture of Archie, Bruiser, and Blake. https://twitter.com/Derrick84623544/status/1171566660232404993
