What does your history have to do with having a bizarre Mark Titus take?

I can't think of anymore more dissimilar to Dakich as Titus. He's an IU fan and he's an entertainer. Posting a meme is not "provoking".

To be fair he is playing in a tiny school in Springfield. If he were in St Louis it'd be a different story. Went to many a Chaminade game when Brad Beal and Jayson Tatum were there (no overlap obviously) and it was always a packed house home and away. Obviously not Indiana sized gyms, but still a big deal.

Maybe they need more practice players and he tried out and coach is letting him walk on as a result. Probably something more nefarious going on here though judging by the takes of the usual suspects.

If you have the capability to export all of basketball-reference and pivot the data for only elite eight teams, I would love to know the answer. I will say that a quick look at the top ten FT% teams each of the last few years is illuminating. A lot of non tourney teams in there. The original discussion was centered around a statement that Archie has never had a good free throw shooting team and that by extension is either incompetent or does not care about his job.

For context, that low 70s number was good for 96th in the country. Obviously not outstanding, but above average. I guess you get to throw that out though? You, obviously, could have figured that out. Also, he "literally" (as opposed to those figurative teams that he's coached) had a Dayton team shoot 72% in 2012-2013 and 78% in 2011-2012.
