  1. The entire Big Ten decided not to offer him.
  2. He's talked like that to the media his entire career, and yet his NBA players seem to universally love him. People can have different media personalities.
  3. I said should. I'm not a psychic; I don't know definitively if they will be good. Got some talent on the team with Kessler, Flanagan, Thor, Smith. Another top 100 guard in 2021 class too. Pearl is a good coach, I'd be surprised by two subpar seasons in a row.
  4. 1.5 hour from Atlanta and he'll play a lot. They should be good next year.
  5. He and his family are too much of a headache.
  6. And by the way, the whole point of saying "high volume" originally was simply to say that he shot enough to conclude that he's a high level 3 point shooter who will be tough to replace in the portal. It wasn't to do a statistical breakdown against the rest of the country. Again, sincere apologies for not explicitly stating all that. I'll be sure to have more comprehensive posts going forward so that there's less room for nitpicking from yourself.
  7. I am sincerely sorry that I did not caveat my initial post enough for your liking. My point stands. Maybe Noah Locke could replace. After that, maybe you could enlighten me with other portal options that shoot 40% at a sufficient enough volume for your liking.
  8. Ah, weirdly similar to my post where I compared him to the team and not nationally since our offense stunk. Of course he's not high volume compared to guys in modern offenses that actually hunt 3's.
  9. Ok, he's not a good shooter and 85 shots isn't enough sample size to make any assessments on. Let's kick him to the curb as he's easily replaceable because there's so many kids in the portal that are good shooters and play good defense. Happy now?
  10. Considering the team only averaged 18 attempts a game, I do think it's high volume. You're free to disagree. We weren't exactly a high flying offense.
  11. She's definitely getting a lot of attention on her happy easter retweets from the last week.
  12. Doubling down on this take despite zero evidence is certainly a choice.
  13. Or maybe major life decisions are stressful and not everyone makes them instantaneously. For a guy who supposedly loves attention, he has been very quiet in the press and social media.
  14. He also averaged 43% from 3 on high volume. That's not easy to replace. It's a big loss.
  15. No, Stewart transferred before Xavier got to campus.
  16. I thought I read that Lewis lives in Calabasas. Westwood is also in the northwestern part of the city, so flying out of Orange County would be a heckuva a drive to get to the airport.
  17. Where is this quote from?
  18. It's only 3:30 pacific....plenty of time left in the day.
  19. Campbell and the michigan kid pass the ball though. This kid averages less than 1 assist per game for his career. Shooting PG is a stretch. He's just a sub 6 foot shooting guard.
  20. That doesn't include any of his work at Georgetown (Greg Monroe, D'vauntes Smith-Riveria, Isaac Copeland, Henry Sims all 5 or high 4 stars). Also recruiting top 100 kids to Nebraska isn't anything to scoff at. I think he's recruited at a high level relative to the schools he's been employed at.
  21. Power 5 football conferences + the Big East
  22. I would assume in the pre COVID world that they were willing to fly to a lot of games. Geronimo did go to a very pricey boarding school.
  23. Isn't it possible that Lander was in Louisville and just couldn't make it back in time? I don't want to interpret his absence as a sign he's leaving. We don't know how short notice the meeting was or if the players were tipped off earlier to a hire being announced Sunday / being told to be around Sunday.
  24. It's definitely weird, but it's also not stalking young men.
  25. I would love to hire Kenny Payne, but if he's turning down college head coach jobs this offseason, he's not going to come be an assistant again just because he worked with Woodson for 6 months. And not sure IU would get into those waters after turning nose up at Beard and Drew.
