Ramsey with good playing can do what he just did there. DeBoer has changed everything. DeBoer has certainly maximized Ramsey and you see what a difference he makes but he has limitations. Whether its him or Penix we probably have a chance at 8-4 by beating PU plus the bowl game but long term if Penix is made of glass and he certainly appears to be need to go out and recruit another stud QB. Preferably one who can stay healthy.

I'm not mad at him at all. Its not his fault his body betrays him but its breaking down way to easily and he won't be playing football for long if this is the case. I have seen so many promising careers ruined by injury and Penix appears to be one of them which is not his doing. Just sad. IU is going to need a more durable QB pretty soon with Penix's inability to stay healthy.

And where did this 'rumor' come from. No hit he took in that half should of broken anything. That is from someone I am watching with who is a doctor. It may not be Penix's fault but he is in the wrong game if his body gets hurt this easily and IU better recruit another QB fast once Ramsey graduates if Tuttle isn't the answer.

I'm sick of Penix being made of Glass. I was told by a source his major problem is he can't play through an ounce of pain and this certainly appears to be the case. No hit out there should of made him hurt. I think we have a big enough lead against this NW offense but Ramsey cannot move the ball against a decent D like this much less an even better PSU or Michigan D. Those are the games Penix is a must (and I love Ramsey) if we want any chance. If we wants to take the rest of the night off fine but be ready in two weeks for PSU and learn to play with a bit of pain or quit the game and we will get another QB. Penix is a great talent but if he can't play with a bit of pain he's in the wrong sport. Unrelated to Penix but we are essentially watching last year's conservative Mike DeBord O in Northwestern's offense against our new and improved offense with Kalen DeBoer.

Like I said just stop NW vanilla offense. Two short runs and then a short pass to try to pick up first down on third and medium. Also doing it this way shortens the game a lot and gives you less scoring chances. Like we replaced Debord for more success NW needs same. They have the talent but horrific and conservative play calling on offense.

Ok part of me is officially scarred that their is an attempted fix. I usually don't buy into that but after the line moved so much and now one sided penalties you wonder if one of the ref's is involved in betting. It sounds crazy and I am probably just freaked out after the Donaghy movie today but everything happening in game sort of happened in move.
