  1. Goode was a career near 40% three point shooter and, after a poor start this season, is heading towards 40% yet again.
  2. Tucker seems to shoot his turn around fadeaway better than “easier” shots facing the basket.
  3. I have zero issue with the time MM spent on the bench. He was 0-7, sleep walking and IU was down 8-10 points when he was benched. Team made up the deficit with him on the bench to tie the game at the half.
  4. I wasn’t paying attention to the time but it was supposed to start at 7:00 and seemed to start right around then.
  5. On tv is sure sounds quiet in the Hall without the students. Be good to them them back for the next home game.
  6. #1 Tennessee loses to Florida by 30!!! LOL
  7. The Wolf/Goldin combo is fun to watch. Technically, due to their height, they are two big men playing together but with their skills/game they are more like two seven foot wings playing together.
  8. They are. Good game to watch.
  9. RE: Carlye. We have needed a three level threat, get the ball in his hands at crunch time, 2 guard since………forever. Pre-season I thought that was one of our two biggest needs and hoped we would get a guy that was good enough to make it a no-brainer that Gallo should be our very capable 6th man. Looking like a swing and a miss.
  10. I like Dusty but right after the blank check offer….……UM has a truckload of turnovers and has choked away an 18 point lead. Time to start a Fire Dusty thread before he is even our coach…LOL That being said, I do like him but feel the jury is still out. We shall see.
  11. It would be great if that blank check included Wolf and Goldin. Not diminishing Dusty but holy sh!te I don’t remember the last time I saw two seven footers with the ball skills, passing and multi-level threats possessed by those two. They are fun to watch.
  12. Pretty sure you know the answer to your own question.
  13. There’s obviously more space,” Walsh said when radio voice Don Fisher asked about Ballo’s improved production over the last two games. Hope that quote doesn’t get Walsh fired……
  14. They might finish that high. They already beat PU by 11 and only lost by 4 at Rutgers. Not saying PSU is a juggernaut, by any stretch of the imagination, but they aren’t complete push overs either. That being said, I agree with Chris that it is sad PSU was favored by 7.5. Sounds like MR is out for a bit. Will be interesting to see how we continue to play without him and, if we continue to play better on the offensive side, how Woody will handle MR’s return. Hopefully, surely (but who knows) he sees what absolutely everyone watching the games sees when we only play one big. I think even the guy that sleeps next to Woody must see the difference.
  15. We will beat USC and then, as I posted earlier, we go on an 11 game stretch in which I think we will only win 3-4 games. I still don’t see us in the tourney or Woody being back next year.
  16. I said 80-85% PSU. there is no way that more than 1 out of every 5 fans there were IU fans. Very large swaths of people were in their white outs. The IU fans that were there were indeed vocal.
  17. Wolf is a matchup problem for everyone. It’s really fun to watch a multi-faceted offensive player like him.
  18. I get it. When teams hit a high percentage of 3’s our defense sucks. When teams hit a low percentage of 3’s their offense sucks.
  19. PSU was favored by 7.5, they beat Purdue by 11 but we should have shellacked them by 25….OK. Good win today but on Jan 11th we start an 11 game stretch in which I think we will only win 3-4 games and the new coach train will keep rolling/accelerate.
  20. It is a weird home court. Always tons of open seats right behind the basket, no vibe/noise, has to be the worst “home court” advantage in the BT. PSU should play 4-5 games a year at the Palestra rather than the mausoleum
  21. IU fans always turn out but it looked 80/85% PSU. IU has never played there. It was like IU playing a team in Indy. Aside from that, and the hotel and plane ride, I guess it was a de facto home game. LOL
  22. I agree with much of your post but a “de facto home game” ? Seriously?
  23. Great to see us hitting FT’s in crunch time.
  24. Atrocious possession by Rice. Dribbled around for 30 seconds.
