    Small detail but they beat a 7 seed and we played one of the best two teams in the country. On a neutral court would you rather play WI or UNC? Is that a close call? Remotely close?? In anyway remotely close???

    We looked like #^#%. we had to have a crazy 7-7 start from the three but surprisingly University of No Classes did it. No one would have beaten UNC tonight. The evolution of this team was fun to watch.

    That does not make sense for "student athletes" but at least that does not matter for the University of No Classes players. Never thought I would dislike a team more than PU/UK/Duke but what UNC did for a decade, without any repercussions so far, really pisses me off. I hope they lose their next game. It would be a TRAVESTY if they win the NC.

    These days it is not if a guy is ready but wether or not if a team is willing to bet multi-millions on them. The positive tonight is that this may have kept TB, TW and OG in the fold.

    I am not a big Crean fan but including Maui, in my opinion is just plain STUPID. He turned the team around totally, which I did not think he could do, from that point and won the BT (which of course you did not mention).

    That is probably going to happen after winning the Big Ten and going to the sweet 16 after beating UK. Almost POSITIVE he will be fired by noon.

    It "is what it is" these days but....can you imagine if we have TB, OG, JM, TW and Davis underneath next year? Unfortunately 1,2 or 3 might be gone.

    How ironic. I am watching a Big Ten network special about the '87 team. Daryl Thomas mentioned being suspended for missing a class and tonight we are playing a team that often does not even have a class to go to.

    I am worried TB will have 2 fouls within 5 minutes. That being said, we have still won when that happens but we need his size vs. UNC. It is not a mystery...hit threes, low turnovers, do not let them get a million second shots, tough D and having "good" Troy will lead to a win. Not a lot of games where all five of those happen but it is what we need tonight.

    I agree. PAC12 was not great this year but in spite of that UCLA was 10th in the league with 3 burger boys. Wonder how that would be received here?

    Iowa State seeded as a 4. WHAT A JOKE. In the last 12 games (one of the columns in the RPI) Iowa State went 5-7! The RPI's of the 5 teams they beat are: 169 27 (home won) 168 84 169 Really baffling. Rarely say this but hope PU absolutely smokes them.

    I would have agreed with you 3-4 weeks ago but UNC is really coming together. Unfortunately UK is also playing as well as they have all year.
