We hit 8 of 26 tonight -- 31%. We are at 30% for the season. So I wouldn't say that 'a few went in' like it was luck.....we hit what would be expected based on past performance. And honestly, the makeup of this team is that we will likely win if all we do is hit 30% from three, we do pretty damn well. We hit 35%.....really well. I think that in three of our four losses we've shot under 30% from three.....and the one we didn't we were just 5 of 14. -

I don't think we had a drought like that against Ohio State, but I could be wrong. -

It's hard right now to pick any team outside of Nebraska and Northwestern that doesn't look like at least an 8 win team in the conference. -

That's a good point. Right now the worse loss on our resume would probably be what? Home against Arkansas, who is 14-3 now and will be a 20+ win team? At Rutgers or Wiksy? Lots of good teams going to do that. Obviously every game is going to be big. Michigan State up next and would really like to defend the home court. -

Only 7th Big Ten conference road win this season. That makes home teams 41-7 for the season. Pundits will tell you that is 'how balanced the conference is'. But I think must of us will agree is that how embarassingly biased the BT officials are to home teams. I could see a team winning the conference by defending their home court and going 3-7 on the road. -

Brunk was playing awfully well in the second half. Not sure how much time he spent on the bench, but it wasn't much. Could have been that Nebraska went small when Brunk came out and we looked to match up. -

Know why it's so hard to win on the road in the Big Ten? This **** at the end of games. -

Just hoping for a good called game. If we get that and lose, that's all on the team. Always hate Big Ten road games because of the ridiculous home/away splits in conference. -

You can also spin that he's only exceeded 20 minutes one time in the last three games. It was pretty obvious in the Northwestern game (and the Rutgers game) that he didn't get much as much as normal -- particularly in the second half. We can argue semantics over whether the leash was too long, but I think you understand that I was simply alluding to asking a question as to how many minutes he would play if he wasn't playing well. -

Starters announced yet? Will be interesting to see who starts among RP/Al/Armaan/DeVonte and how guard minutes are handled. DeVonte's minutes have been much more limited in two of the last three games (the exception being Ohio State). I like Green off the bench more because he has seemed more effective there, but am concerned with our start after the last game. Would like to see RP and Armaan starting but offensively that concerns me. -

It is a little puzzling because all three look to be either a shooting guard or a wing. -

His current rate has him turning the ball over at a rate of 5.2 times per 40 minutes played (an incredible rate for a power forward) and 6.2 fouls per minutes. And what LCS doesn't even acknowledge is that we saw one season of Forrester. The freshman season we know can be a transition one for a lot of pf high school players, especially bigs. Moore we saw for two seasons. He is what he is....and that is not a Big Ten player. -

LaSalle has been to ONE Ncaa tournament in the last 27 years. George Washington has been to TEN (and when Creek transferred there, it was 9 in the last 21 years). But I guess you'd say that Nebraska and Michigan State are on the same level because they are both in the same conference, right? And throw in that LaSalle is so desperate that they are tying up three years of scholarship to Clifton Moore to get two years.....LaSalle is a bad program....period. George Washington only had to commit one year to Creek and it was an extra scholly available since it was a grad transfer. And since you didn't bother to actually read what I wrote, I stated that if Al Durham transferred he wouldn't end up at a program like LaSalle. Reality check for you: he wouldn't.. Clifton Moore was here two years and showed less than about any player who was in the program for two or more years that wasn't named Tim Priller. You make an idiotic statement about 'wishing Clifton Moore was still here'. If he's here, he still isn't getting playing time. It's not like our glaring weaknesses are centered on our inside players. Unless Clifton Moore can lace up his shoes and suddenly become a point guard or wing who can knock down threes, he's just another guy at the end of the bench....and he'd be tying up a 2021 scholarship to boot. But keep doubling and tripling down on statements that don't make sense. Moore doesn't make us any better this year and could have only hurt us next year in a wasted scholarship. -

Cool. Are Jake Forrester, Al Durham, MacKinley Wright, or Mo Creek pseudonyms for Clifton Moore? Because for someone who “really wishes we had Clifton Moore”, you seem to want to talk about everyone but him. -

Gotta love how you can tell a guy is such a diamond in the rough when he playing almost all of his minutes in garbage time because he was so lousy he couldn't get into the rotation ahead of. Fact: over two seasons, Moore played a grand total of 62 minutes in games that weren't decided by 20 or more points. But I'm glad he impressed at the end of blowouts. -

And it would all be irrelevant, because as you indicated you would have fired Archie Miller on the way home from Rutgers two and a half seasons in. Yet now you are suddenly so patient that you are going to let a coach take a postseason ban for a year or two and then not bring in players who are ready to play until their Junior year. -

You thinking Moore had quite a bit of potential just became reason #103 of why you shouldn't be allowed near managing a basketball program. "Us" people see through your BS. -

Yeah, I’m sure a level headed guy like you would be just fine entering a season guaranteed to not have any postseason. I’m sure CAM would have your full support on that. Hindsight sure is a great thing to have. I sure as heck didn’t see you posting at the beginning of the last two years that what we needed was to “send players walking” and take an NCAA tournament probationary year. It doesn’t take guts to do so after the fact when we didn’t make the tourney. -

Your original point was about wishing that Clifton Moore were still here.....and I asked for what reason. You have since tried to change the conversation to Al Durham, McKinley Wright, and a player who left IU in 2013. You were the one who said that you wished Clifton Moore was still here. If that is true, why can you not give a single reason other than you dislike Durham? And for the record, we have an open scholarship right now to begin with. if you think that this team would be better with Clifton Moore on it than Durham...wow. Moore can’t play over any of our bigs, which would make it three straights of a guy who can’t play a lick,
