So the question, @Chris007 — of the different responses you heard today, which do you consider reliable/not as reliable?

‘Contractually obligated’ to go to the crown tournament has still not been verified as to what that means. Sports illustrated reached out to the crown and asked that very question and did not receive an answer. May simply mean a team can’t accept an NIT bid instead of the crown (schools would prefer the NIT if it meant home game).

Marquette down big to Xavier. Not good for IU

The crown takes the cake of bad ideas. Apparently they tried to do it in 24 and cancelled it.

I wouldn’t be so sure about the contractually obligated part. SI reached out to the crown organizers because it’s unclear….could just mean that they contractually obligated to play in the crown over playing in the NIT. The crown is a horrible idea and I think they are about to find that out. It's possible. Root for A&M over Texas, Wake Forest over UNC and Marquette over Xavier. But mostly IU to simply win. Still need to watch out for bid stealers as well.

Not a lot of good things happened for IU today. UNC easy win, Texas win, Oklahoma win. The Iowa/Ohio State result had positives and negatives. Tomorrow, root for IU and root for Marquette to beat Xavier.

What they said was the coaching search wrapped up by the 17th -- that is everything done at that point and they have their guy. Doesn't mean an announcement would be made if IU or whoever is signed's team is still playing.

Watching Chris Collins crew play live…have to say what they run is impressive. Without two of their three leaders scorers even Minnesota is much more talented. The difference in execution between the two was huge.

From what I’ve tried to learn from you — basically the importance of NET is mainly it determines what quad each of your games are. Correct me if I’m off.
