  1. Exactly how many guys aren't playing for a bag in the NCAA? I'm not going to blame Leal for that. I can prefer getting another big to Leal being back without bashing Leal.
  2. FWIW, Wayne -- I know that you have valued Torvik ratings in so much that it's a metric out there. IU is currently ranked 36th on Torvik....Alabama is right there at 35. And Torvik hasn't added in Josh Harris yet (he doesn't show up in their unsigned portal players but also doesn't show up on IU's roster). Torvik really likes Harris as well -- his offensive rating last year was 117, which would put him tied with Wilkerson's projection for next year -- even if you lower it to what Harris's offensive rating was last year for games just against top 100 competition, his rating would be 112. So by one man's rating -- which you yourself have said is one that should at least be looked at -- Torvik would rate IU higher than an Alabama program you are wanting us to compare to.
  3. Are you really hanging your hat on Baba Miller putting up 7.6 points and 4.9 rebounds on a Florida State team over someone who put up 18 points/6 rebounds at a mid majors? Hell, why even recruit ANYONE from a mid/low major then. To hell with Dalton Knecht, just get Anthony Walker's.
  4. Rankings are taken in mind of how many players you brought in. Just because you brought in a lot of players doesn't make your ranking higher. Purdue brought in one player and is rated highly.
  5. On3 also accounts for players that are leaving and IU, so more of a "net" effect.
  6. Google rod Clark coach and there is a link to the Indy star saying Clark had told the Knox News he is joining IU….but the link is now showing page not found
  7. Truth is that Woodson should have shut him down in January. He played 8 total minutes in the second half of the season.
  8. IF Goode were granted eligibility, then Leal's case would be solid as well. Each has four years that have counted since 20-21 didn't and both played a season that would have put them under the number of games that counted BUT they played games in the second half of the season. That said, I'm not sure adding both makes IU a better team. Dorn and Goode are similar (although I think Goode is better). Right now, Bailey/Alexis/Harris/DeVries are the only players we have that can play at the 4 or 5. Still would prefer to get one more big even if it's a backup or a reach.
  9. 20-21 doesn't count. In 22-23 he was limited to 11 games (24 minutes). His case is basically the same as Goode's as the NCAA has already ruled that 20-21 doesn't count. That said, I don't think either would win eligibility.
  10. Tyme indicates that it is not Mullins when he says he isn't Huskie related.
  11. If you have 8 dudes and penny players you are one or two inujuries from disaster.
  12. Sinceire Harris is a player who played as a freshman at Illinois and wasn't good enough to play as a sophomore so they redshirted him. To think that DeVries' defensive system didn't have anything to do with Harris' success is false.
  13. Top 25 programs right now are built on names that voters know and not necessarily on actual roster talent. Production over potential seemed to be motto of a successful football coach last year.
  14. Yes, committed via zoom. Reed Bailey also committed before visiting.
  15. Three years of eligibility for Harris. Even if he isn't a major player from the get go, looks like there would be room for him to grow into the spot.
  16. I put someone on ignore and their posts don't show if they are posting EXCEPT when they quote someone their post does show. Is this normal?
  17. Baloney. The 2024 Olympics were viewed by approximately 5 billion people at least once -- 84% of those who could had the potential to watch -- with the total viewing hours over 27 billion. Of the 10 million tickets that were made available to Olympic events, 9.5 million were sold. Whole lot of 'nobodies' watched it.
  18. Underwood has been at Illinois eight years and has two yet to make the sweet sixteen.
  19. For the life of me I will never understand Ty Rodgers.
  20. Nothing is keeping you from doing that but you.
  21. I don't know, Dakich swears Reneau got 1.8 million. (LOL)
  22. Harris is mostly a college 4 who brings a different 4 look than Alexis. Alexis is more of a banger who could be a 5 against smaller 5's. Harris is more of a leaper.
