    Have to say watching the Big Ten tournament and then watching the New Mexico/Boise State game, I was disappointed with what I saw in the New Mexico/Boise State game. While it was a tight and competitive game, I was disappointed with the quality of play. I really enjoyed watching the Mountain West a few years ago. Could be a one off, obviously.

    They may prefer them but by definition choosing them over their criteria by definition isn’t an ‘autobid’. in either case, I think it’s irrelevant. The suits don’t want to see Langdon hatton and walk ins play. And northwestern has also indicated they won’t play. Worst case IMO is you see a team have to pay some ‘opt out’ fee.

    I think you are reading that wrong. If Brownell terminates he owes 20% of remaining compensation — about $3.3 million. It’s 50% only if Clemson terminated.

    Lunardi did what @Uspshoosiersaid he would….switched IU to second out instead of first despite no new game results that would have affected it. What I also don’t understand is he had IU two spots ahead of Xavier, both lost q1 games and now Xavier is two spots ahead of iu

    @Uspshoosier am I wrong in thinking that San Diego state is not a lock? 20-9 after you remove the d2 game, net 52, 8 wins against quad 4, just 3 in quad 1 and 2 quad 2 and 1 quad 3 loss.

    But wouldn’t a week later still have been in season? the story we’ve heard is that Woodson wanted Dolson to give him a public assurance that he would get a fifth year. He would not (because he had plans to not do so). Woodson sped that process up but thinking for some reason he had the power in the situation when he obviously didn’t.

    Surprinsingly, in the 55 brackets posted on Bracketmatrix today, IU is in the tourney in 47 of them. xavier makes it in 28. North Carolina in 43. Texas in 40 boist state in 12 line of thinking among brackets is 3 of the 5 are in. San Diego state also misses in 5 brackets.
