    We are shooting a little under 20 threes per game. Last year we shot about 16 per game. so we are shooting more of them but still well under the national average.

    Current line is IU by 4.5. If Ballo isn't playing, I would say at this point insiders don't know. Point spread I would think would not be IU by 4.5 if it was known Ballo was out.

    I'm sure Herbstreit is already firing up 'Texas beat two conference champions to get to the semifinals'. We do need to talk about the fact that in the current format the 5 seed is the best position.....they beat the CFP's #16 and #12 teams to get to the semis.

    Two years of eligibility left. Rotational guy with Tennessee last year. Come out of high school as a safety so I assume can play either safety of corner.

    Bad punt, could have pinned them down. Ball on the Arizona State 21, two time outs for Texas, 57 seconds.

    What I see: -- defenseless receiver -- hit with crown of helmet -- defender didn't launch himself though. Don't know how they will rule. Also don't know if the fact the ball was tipped plays a part.

    Arizona State going to have to punt. Review for targeting first, though. Personally I think it was targeting but we'll see.

    What horrible clock usage by Texas....followed by a missed field goal. Arizona State ball on the Texas 31, 1:44 left, one ASU time out.

    Texas in field goal range at the 2 minute warning, Arizona State with just two time outs. If Texas doesn't get a first down and kicks the field goal, could be looking at Arizona State down three with one minute left and no time outs.

    Ultimately I couldn't care less why players improve or a coaching scheme works whether it is the head coach or staff he hires around him. There are plenty of bad X and O's head coaches that succeed because they surround themselves with people in the know and LISTEN to them. I would not put Woodson in that camp.

    Exactly what summer camps between his freshman and sophomore year of college are you referring to? The difference between Ware at Oregon and Indiana wasn't just 'summer camps'. And Ware had more freedom at Oregon in terms of shot selection -- a full 30% of his shots were from three. Woody sucks as a coach but I don't think you can argue that TJD and Ware didn't greatly improve under him.
