Meh.. ND isn't a football factory. They'll never be able to recruit like Bama/Clemson/OSU/UGA/LSU when it comes to 5 star kids..., They frankly don't care what you care about their IND status. If they reduced their admissions standards, then yes, they'd deserve some flack. But they never will. Lou was able to slide some kids in, and funny enough, that's the last time they won... Frankly, it's pretty impressive what they've done with the limitations they work with. As long as they have a large fan base and field a decent team, they'll get the TV contracts, and they'll do what they want despite what people think. Like I said 2020 they got blown out by Bama, who blew out OSU even worse..... 2018 they got blow out Clemson, who blew out Bama 2016 lost to OSU by 16, who blew out UM and PSU worse that year 2012 crushed by a great Bama team ND did manage to beat LSU twice in bowl games during that period.

And? Outside of very few teams, who has not got destroyed by Bama? Bama beat OSU by 28, after beating ND by 17.

After sleeping on it..... Still unhappy, but not disgusted... It was a road game against a ranked opponent Iowa's D was 8th in the nation last year in yards allowed, and 6th in points allowed. Penix was bad, very bad, which surprised me.... Iowa's run D was top 10 last year, so not surprised with had 3.0 AVG on the ground Our D wasn't bad. Penix gifted them a ton. The worst thing though..... Cinci's defense is better than Iowa's...

19 for 57 (3.0 AVG)...

The earlier the better though...... We'll likely drop all the way out of the top 25, so any fantasy of a major bowl is out of the question probably, unless we go pop a top 10 Cinci, and beat PSU and OSU. Right now though, just hoping for mid level bowl...

Expected Iowa to give our OL fits... Didn't expect 3 INTs (really 4) and 2 P6s by Penix. I know he was pressured a lot, but what a dud. Defense wasn't really that bad. Iowa's O didn't do much, but were gifted a lot. Time to go beat up Idaho before we play Cinci... ooooof...

CMW likes to have multiple guys with handles on the floor. I think in general though, he's just offering the guys he likes. For 23, 2 offers for PGs, 2 for CGs. Not crazy high IMO.

Just checked out 247. As of right now, the composite rating is 5 star, 0.9907, and is 24th overall. I think they recently updated. His 247 rating is 97, and he's 24th there too. Rivals has him ranked 20th, but he's still a 4 Star. The 19th ranked player is a 5 Star, so he's right on the edge. ESPN has him 32nd, grade is 88, and a 4 Star. The other prospects much have even greater ranges if Jalen's 24+20+32 equates to a 24th composite

He just seems so likeable and genuine. But "sure" of things at the same time. Can be soft spoken, or stern/direct. Humble, yet confident. Mature, but also fun. Kind of guy I'd love to have beers or a scotch with.

Agreed. But I also think his personality goes a long long way too with kids. And have to give the admin props for the entire wrap around staff. I'd love to see another 5 star pop before the end of the year.
