This must be what it feels like to be a fan for ANY TEAM heading into the Big Ten West for the last few years. -

Catch and release is the only way to bass fish! Hopefully gonna get out today if the ice let's up enough. Getting the boat out on Eagle Creek tomorrow.

I'll be the PA guy on 12/14 when he's playing in the Shootout at Southport. Should be fun. -
Awesome, thank you! I convinced my wife (Ohio State fan) to come a celebrate the history this happening right now with our Hoosiers.

Just bought my tickets to the game this Saturday. Can we still park at the church across the street? Anyone know? Thanks!
-
This is a dumb question, but how do you know which sideline the Hoosiers will be on at Lucas Oil for the Ball State game? Thanks!

In the post-game celebration interview he flatly said he's not going anywhere. Wildcat for life.

Was it really known that Harris was coming back? I was surprised to see it this morning. I hope things work out for him this time. -
Prediction League (Game 6 - Ohio State 10/6/18)
BabyJandJDaddy replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Close late in the 3rd quarter. Buckeyes pull away late. 42 - 17. -
Here is why. My wife's grandparents are season ticket holders to the Buckeyes. Each time the Hoosiers head to Columbus, they always offer us their tickets. Each time, I go in hopes that this game will be finally be the one where the Hoosiers come home with a win. There have been some serious heartbreaks in recent years. The only blowout in recent memory was the 2013 game in the snow. All the other games, the Hoosiers have kept it close, sometimes even down to the last play of the game. Well this Saturday, my family and I are moving to the west side of Indy. No Buckeye game for me this year, which naturally means, I won't be there in person to see the Hoosiers take it the Buckeyes this weekend! Might as well get pumped up about it! What does IU have to lose?!

You're right. Winning the BTN will mean a lot more than some lame Gator Bowl :) -

What kind of offers did he have coming out of high school? -
There seemed to be a big drop off whenever we subbed for either Scales or Covington this past year. Hopefully with Ball coming back and if Fitz can be what he was touted to be, the regression will be minimized.
-
What is our linebacking core like right now? It seems like coaches didn't prioritize backers in this class. Did we get 2?! Maybe that's enough. Are they happy with the depth we have right now? Losing Scales and Covington is obviously huge. Do we still have Willis? Jones? Are they high on Burnam? Feels like depth is a major issue here. Hope I'm wrong.

2018 IUFB Recruiting
BabyJandJDaddy replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I'm not a football coach, but I work at a school and I am pretty close with some of our football coaches. They tell me a few things about potential IU recruits that they've heard through the grapevine from other area high school coaches. A relatively successful high school head coach from the area (not Ben Davis) says that Reece is the best QB he's every played against or seen coming out of high school. Better than James Banks, better than Tre. He said while all 3 were/are dynamic runners, Reece is the by far the best passer of the group already. He also downplayed the "he's too little" thought. He said that its not like Reece isn't having to see over and navigate through large linemen already in the MIC. I realize the MIC is not the Big Ten, but I'm just relaying the comments I heard from a guy whose opinion is probably pretty valuable.
