  1. Toughest non-con opponent the next 8 years: 2018: Virginia 2019: UConn 2020: @ UConn 2021: Cincy 2022: @ Cincy (3rd non-con not set yet) 2023: Louisville (@ Lucas Oil) 2024: @ Louisville 2025: Louisville (2nd and 3rd non-cons not set yet)
  2. Isn't there a case to be made that top to bottom, Allen's first full recruiting class is stronger than any class Wilson had? Even the 2013 class?
  3. As disappointing as the lows have been at times this season, I believe it would do wonders for the psyche of players, coaches, and fans if this team can finish with wins over Rutgers and Purdue (Purdue, on the road, would actually be a decent win considering their small improvements this year). Find a way to win the bowl game and this team finishes 7 - 6. An improvement, albeit a small one, over the last 2 years. It would at least be a step in the right direction and yet another small building block in the long project of turning the historically worst program in division 1 football around.
  4. Is Brandon Peters ever going to play at Michigan?
  5. I do not have a good feeling about Saturday's game. The main factor I believe is just how banged up IU is right now. Is there any word on who is officially out for this Saturday? Lagow is hurt, Ball, Fant, Riggins??? Anybody else?
  6. Thank you. I'll be in Gatlinburg. Hopefully ESPN 3 will be an option.
  7. Anyone know how we can watch the game this Saturday? Don't believe I have ACC Network.
  8. If my memory serves correctly, I believe Cobbs at one point posted on his twitter something along the lines of, "See you all on 8/31." This would indicate that he at least believes he's going to be playing Thursday night. I could be way off base here.
  9. Anyone know if we can get the free football posted this year? If so, where?
  10. I'm not sure that is a good sign for our run game.
  11. Anyone know what time BTN is showing IU's practice today?
  12. A source from another site said early playing time is a key for this kid.
  13. Who all watched the Spring Game? For the 1st half it looked like the same ole Lagow. Huge arm with sporadic accuracy. In the 2nd half, he really looked like he was a making a concentrated effort to give what the defense would take him. He would often take the check down or feed a short pass to the running back. If the new OC can get Lagow to just manage the game better and get him willing to accept the fact that huge pass play attempts do not work for him overall in the long run (see here http://puntjohnpunt.com/2017/02/22/richard-lagow-and-the-interception-machine/ and here http://puntjohnpunt.com/2017/04/04/chart-week-part-2-passing-offense/), then I look for better overall results. Allen wants to win games by moving the chains and playing great D. Based on what Lagow was willing to do in the 2nd half of the Spring game, Allen's desired winning style seems at least more possible than maybe some others might think.
  14. Saw a rumor last night about Hendershot flipping to Penn State today. Hope its not true. Go Hoosiers!
  15. The latest I've heard is that Coach Allen has convinced him to stay. He's potentially staying with the understanding that he will receive a promotion in coaching duties...perhaps Co-OC?
  16. Being recruited at wide receiver?
  17. I believe he is also taking another OV to Indiana also.
  18. Disagree here. If there's anything we've learned about QB's during the Wilson years, it is that you can't have enough of them. I'm not necessarily saying that I want quantity over quality, but if a 2017 QB is still available who has upside and a relatively decent chance at doing well in Deboard's offense, pick him up. Then also take one in 2018. As far as King and Ramsey goes, I've heard King certainly has the better arm, but his work ethic has been questioned by the coaches at times. He is certainly more of a traditional pocket passer, but can probably extend plays slightly better than Lagow. As far as Ramsey goes, he's definitely got more scrambling ability and a strong work ethic. Arm strength is not as good as King however. Not sure on how the throwing accuracy is for either King or Ramsey. Then there's Danny Cameron. Don't know much about him.
  19. Reading on some OSU boards that this all but a done deal. He'll be their new OC and his first game will be in B-town. How fitting.
  20. 2 BTN analysts just picked IU to win this game. I'm saying IU wins 35 - 24.
  21. Hoosiers win 34 - 20. Rush for over 250 yards as a team.
  22. I've got Uverse...their programming goes a couple weeks out. Found the IU - FIU game on 9/1. Already got the DVR set boys!
