With 6 games to go in the season plus two tournaments, I'd think that Dusty is focused on the team and not any new contract with us or Michigan... pretty sure anybody is talking to his agent at this point... and his agent can play the stall game if he's worth his cut.

I hear you, Jersey... between the Buckner crew and Woodson's epic failure as a coach, I am almost out on IU basketball... I have actively rooted for them to lose for the past two seasons... It would be one thing if Woodson had actually tried to do the job... but he didn't. He phoned in every phase of the job and then called out the fanbase who dared to question his performance. And Buckner continued to enable him at every turn to the detriment of the basketball program ... all because they were buddies and he had the weight to do it. I pray to the basketball gods that there is a path out of this abyss and that Dolson is able to find it... but the more I look at the situation and all of the tangential items, I get more and more pissed.

They can try... they can draw up and extension and ask him to sign... but the tell will obviously be what Dusty does... he has a contract with UM, so he doesn't need to be in a hurry to re-up, especially if he truly is interested in the IU job...

The strong Christian/religious tie to Waco cannot be understated. The wife is especially tied to that, and I’ve read that she makes the decisions. Baylor is a good job, pays well and Drew’s had some success. UCLA is a lot like IU but without the NIL component. Since Wooden and Gilbert (including pay-for-play), what has UCLA actually done to tetain their blue blood status?

And you have to understand, that regardless of the results of a BTB poll, we are an incredibly small sample of the fanbase... and the reports of Beards um, transgressions are pretty widely known... I just don't see Dolson and the admin selling it... after all, Pam Whitten killed Pat Fitzgerald for the football job... and Beard doesn't pass the smell test, either, IMO.

Otzelberger? Yeah, locked in at Iowa State... But Beard will never get a call from Dolson... Sampson is not interested, and Pitino is old and creepy.
