Woodson is done or almost done. We're hiring a coach to replace him at some point. Isaac is definitely a troll and Kathy is back. That's about it.

I don't completely agree with this... guys in Woodson's age group are still killing it, or at least doing well: Pitino, Sampson, Pearl, Few. Woodson's issue was that he had a bad case of entitled laziness. He wanted the title without all of the work... not trying to head back down the Woodson rabbit hole, but Dolson set him up for success as much as he could, and Woodson preferred to drink his wine, smoke his cigars and play golf... IU could do with another coach in that age range, assuming that said coach was willing to put in the effort in recruiting, developing skills and actually coaching...

That would be a "from left field" kind of hire that I could support. I don't hate the McCollum rumors, but think we should be able to do better...

So far, he's failed on his predictions... the last one said something about "disregarding" him "forever"...

But is McCollum really an "out of left field" hire? Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but asking a genuine question...

Yep, Iowa was getting curb stomped by Illinois, and Fran pulled a Woody... 2 Ts in 5 seconds... I guess there are some words that will do that. :D So Fran is done with the B1GT, and maybe with the B1G...

Good to know that a team can turn down a bid to the Crown tournament... there was some talk that if you were invited, you had to participate (not sure how you could enforce that, anyway)...

SMH... for > $1M, Oumar, you need to toughen up and bring it... same for the rest of the team, especially the seniors... guys like Gallo and Leal who played well down the stretch, but phoned it in today after calling out the fans last Senior Day... no sympathy... you want talk smack to the fans, your @$$ had better deliver all season long.

Well, we didn't... but clearly that was Mike Woodson's recruiting strategy... and we got what we got... no chemistry, very little leadership and zero coaching.

Question for you, Chris, AP and others with connections... how does this play out if we're out of the dance? Do we have to play in that Crown thing? How does that impact moving forward with a coach, the portal, etc? From where I sit, the timing will be tricky and critical.
