Yeah, IU has been dysfunctional for 10 years or more, but the changing of the guard (Buckner/Woodson out, Dolson/DeVries in) will help that. Maybe reputation plays a role, but given the new direction and the desire to hire a "real" college coach is also a factor. Crean was streaky and at times, odd, Archie had the personality of a bag to doorknobs, Woodson was lazy and arrogant... all of that is gone... I don't think it's going to be as hard of a sell as some think it will be... DeVries has a plan, and we need to let him work that plan. He will win some and lose some, but we're gonna be ok. Coach DD has done it twice, he will do it again.

It's going to be a bumpy ride... but we will get there... I trust Coach DeVries... he's rebuilt programs at Drake and W Virginia... so he knows what he's doing here...

This year, all four #1 seeds (Auburn, Florida, Duke and Houston) reached the Final Four for only the second time in tournament history.
