  1. Woodson "our offense was terrible down the stretch... I got to help them." Doh!
  2. Nope. He left... no longer a Hoosier... so sympathy here.
  3. thought night for Geronimo... airball specialist...3pts, FTs, doesn't matter...
  4. Or rebound... back turned on that airball.
  5. Cignetti starts his tenure at SSAH with "Purdue Sucks!".
  6. I am sure Glass' athletic bill of rights would guarantee the player the remainder of a 4 year scholarship... probably would not necessarily guarantee a spot on any team, but certainly would cover the cost of the education.
  7. Dolson put IU in the position to have to pay so much... contractually it was $20.8M, and negotiated down to $15.5M ... still extremely poor judgment guaranteeing that buyout... Clearly y'all disagree, and that's fine... I'm wearing my asbestos boxers today.
  8. Regardless of whose money it was, it demonstrated poor judgment on his part.
  9. I have about 15.5M reasons... and, deep fear that he will screw this hire up...
  10. Not forgiven... but it would definitely be a step in that direction.
  11. oops. my bad. Curt, not Frank (Jr)
  12. Not particularly interested. Pitt went 3-9 and Dolson wants to hire the OC that put that offense together to be IU's head coach? If that's the "win", I'd rather get the $15M back and tell Allen "sorry, we were kidding".
  13. Dolson has a history of underachieving and screwing things up. I have ZERO faith that he gets anything positive out of this cluster**** that is IU football.
  14. And IU isn't Clemson even back then...
  15. Maybe so... but still, an extra $20M in an NIL fund is better spent helping there rather than constantly being thrown down the "coach, just go away" hole.
  16. I would argue that more would contribute to an NIL fund if they weren't busy putting together $20M to get rid of the last coach. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that a donor would be willing to spend large sums of money to make someone go away, but that same donor would not consider contributing to an NIL fund or a capital improvement effort to improve facilities - both are for the benefit of the players and the overall betterment of IU football.
  17. Yeah, Allen probably did earn the extension... and contractually, IU was required to do the extension... but to my knowledge, there was nothing contractual about guaranteeing a $20+M buyout... THAT'S where Dolson screwed the pooch, and it's the part that sticks in my craw.
  18. doubt that is the case... because if true, the obvious question is "where was the university President when Allen got his guarantee on the $20+M buyout approved?"
  19. Probably due, at least in part, to the baggage that Gruden and Fitzgerald bring... but I also question Dolson's ability to get much done (apart from crapping his pants).
  20. The refs changed at least three of them to 2s after review.
